This is one reason why we won't stop hearing of crimes like these.

How do you even weigh the verdicts with respect to the offense?
At least one rapist is reading currently reading the story and thinking if he ever gets caught, all he has to do is a night I jail while he arranges the 200k bail.

Nonsense! who is the judge? He should be arrested and questioned about the credibility of the career. cry

I just wanna ask.... How did she identify the men who duped and raped her when she has never seen them before? How did she know where to find the men when she says she went back there and there was no-one in the house?

we live in a society where people are so simple-minded especially on issues relating to spirituality. The fraudsters simply capitalized on that.
When most victims finally realize their folly, they give the lame excuse of 'hypnosis' as a way of hiding their own gullibility.
It is because these are small time fraudsters, this same religious fraud is being perpetuated ('legitimately') everyday on a larger scale in this society.

Why granting them bails? These guys has being doing this inhumane life for long. it happen to my very own person that the lady, on her way to work entered their bus n took her to nearby ATM to empty her account and still demanded from her to go home and bring more money. the said lady came to my working place started crying profusely, I was like meennh, wat d hell going on and d lady refused to speak out. I gave her 10k but still not satisfied what is wrong. I took permission from my boss then and trailed her home. On getting to the lady's house, I met her searching her sisters available buses looking for more cashes, that when I notices something is wrong. I confronted her and she now said if she told anyone what happen she will die. As I mentioned 419 has duped you, her eyes cleared and started telling me what happen. We arranged some area guys n took a danfo and she was communicating with them on our way going n they were giving her direction. When we get dere, we only find nothing on ground.Took her 30k den abt 4yrs ago.

All these 'suspected' persons being arrested and charged already. I don't buy the Nigerian police. If someone is a suspect, first keep the identity before damaging their names. Every suspect police arrest mostly have their names and pictures printed out. From yahoo boys to the low life
