komekn: Gabriel Jesus exposure has to do with the Brazilian system where young kids are groomed the old fashion way to fit big shoes. Nwakali and Osimhen, are good maybe far better than some of the English lads getting easy pathways to the EPL. If a player is not born into the system or put in early, it is difficult for the child. So like comparing Solanke's path to Osimhen does not add because Solanke is having an easy ride due to him born into the system. Not just talent. Even a young Yaya Toure with all his talent was denied work permit. He was better than most but denied a work permit. If Gabriel Jesus was to come as a young chap before him blowing at Palmeiras, he would not find it easy. Where you are born matters a lot. When you compare Solanke's path to Osimhen and Nwakali. |

komekn: Look at Awo. If he was born in England, his treatment would have been better by Liverpool. Same for Nwakali. Due to where they were born, they are treated badly. Worst is even Arsene Wenger. |

TheGoodJoe: They are all for the discerning mind to judge. Liverpool consider letting Divock Origi leave before dead line day Jurgen Klopp would ideally like yo keep Divock Origi at Anfield but is also keen to be fair to the Belgium striker and his World Cup hopes 25 August 2017 • 10:30pm Divock Origi may be allowed to leave Liverpool before Thursday’s transfer deadline after slipping down Jürgen Klopp’s Anfield pecking order. The Belgium striker is yet to start a game this season and has made only one substitute appearance, in the 3-3 draw with Watford. Origi was not even on the bench for Liverpool’s Champions League qualifier victory over Hoffenheim this week because Klopp preferred Daniel Sturridge and youngster Dominic Solanke as his substitute strikers http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/08/25/liverpool-consider-letting-divock-origi-leave-deadline-day/ |

Could Osimhen and Tammy Abraham be the Super Eagles front two at the world cup? They both stand at 6'1'' and 6'4'' respectively, which could be useful during aerial duels with opposing center-halves; and Osimhen is quite pacy too, as evidenced at the last U-17 tournament. Or should Rohr stick to fielding just one striker? |

When Dominic Solanke joined Liverpool this summer and began to overtake Divock Origi as third-choice striker, it was clear that Origi would have to go out on loan to get game time. And, in fact, in the last hours of the transfer window, Liverpool secured a season-long loan to Wolfsburg for the player https://liverpooloffside.sbnation.com/liverpool-fc-news-coverage/2017/9/6/16258132/divock-origi-relishes-new-bundesliga-challenge-loan-wolfsburg-liverpool cc/ thegoodjoe |

forgiveness: Another recycled news. As I said, with or without the arrival of Solanke, Origi would have gone on loan. Solanke's position down the pecking order of selection proves this. |

komekn: I don't complain too much about it because we share the same ideology. You can start a debate about the NPFL, I will keep quiet because I don't know too much about it, but when it comes to La Liga/Segunda and even Segunda2 I will jump in and defend their quality. I guess that's the same ideology you employ, you only talk about what you know |

ChrisKels: Iheanacho is not poor and the consideration has to do with Iheanacho working under a top manager. It I not easy for a top manager to have faith in a young player. Pellegrini's track record of working with the likes of Sorin, Riquelme, Guiseppe Rossi, Diego Forlan, Santiago Carzola, Isco, Roque Santa Cruz and a host of others makes him a good candidate to finalize Nacho's development. There are few coaches with such history you can trust. It is not about poor but continous development. I am also thinking MLS, NYFC. So Nacho can work with Patrick Vieira who started a good job with Iheanacho at City where he tried Moulding Iheanacho to play like Henry. Vieira has done a fantastic job with Jack Harrison with the young man playing along side Lampard, Pirlo and David Villa. The formative years is not for glory but development. 1 Like |

The way u guys engage in crappy arguments is really disappointing. Wetin concern Solanke, concern our lack of potent strikers at the moment? Is he in any way a solution to the problem? Una funny. Osimhen please get me a goal by the weekend to shoot yourself back to reckoning. I go like c u for that Algeria list. Good luck to Acho too. Abraham you are keeping us waiting. Rohr please try out Onuachu, he might turn out to be an upgrade on the so called Abraham. |

TheGoodJoe: Answer the questions below then. TheGoodJoe: Now, answer questions and leave out stories. Do you still believe in what you said in your first paragraph? I mean, Do you believe that Solanke getting games with Liverpool makes him a more rated player than Origi, Osimhen and Iheanacho? yeah! my head. *Takes cover* Abi, Klopp and Liverpool players are not top coaches and players? Compare Liverpool with Wolfsburg fc and Leicester-city-fc. Na. |

junnyjake: At which age. Iheanacho is still a developing young player. Working with a manager who knows the art of developing young players will go a long way. There are few with such track records as Pellegrini. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:42pm On Oct 20, 2017 |
