There's a difference between a lie and an honest mistake. 2 things to note; (1) The 2nd Niger bridge isn't even up to $1billion and (2) The entire sovereign wealth fund just recently hit $2billion. The VP obviously mixed up his figures, and after the expected backlash by tomorrow, his spokesperson would definitely be giving a clarification.
