The Bible has been the holy book that (i) has survive that has survived earth ranging (ii) reader get pricked, whether believers, non-believers, atheist, and all other. that is why they want want people to read it. Because the Bible is; For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Tell me But I tell you, such is evolution of the mind, a gradual change and soon the world will be occupied with logical beings.. your kinds, your ideologies would only be remembered in history books. The world did not start with religion, and when religion came, religion did not start with Christianity and Islam. many gods have come and gone, gods nobody ever thought would be forgotten....Same with yours, it has a beginning and it would have an end. Nobody will remember you and your gods for good in a future to come |

realmindz: For those 2000 years the world has seen an increase in the religious and in Christianity and it took just 2000 years to hit almost 3billion people so let's do the math shall we? 3000000000 Christians divided by 2000 years. That's 1,500,000 million every year. Very impressive. Even if the growth index were to be cut down to a third of that, that would be 500,000 new followers a year which is still impressive and seen as the worst case scenario. The fact is that nobody would remember you in another 80 or 90 years but guess what. Almost 3billion people have remembered Christianity for over 2000 years. If it hurts you then you can kiss a cobra. |

Scholar8200: Don't mind those empty ranters. Voltaire died in 1778 and has long become sand and his supposed intelligence vaporised but from 1778 till date the gospel thrived like never before and new followers came on board in droves while people trampled on the burial spot of Voltaire in absolute abandon and the generations of today if not told, would never know that anyone like Voltaire ever existed. But here we are 2000+ years after Christ and we have a chain reaction of almost 3 billion who in turn would also cause their own chain reaction. Imagine if these almost 3 billion get just 1 soul converted a year, that would be another 3 billion in just a year and in less than 10 years the whole world would be followers of Jesus. Some pained twits up there are busy doing permutations for us in the face of their own uncertainty when the reality is laughing at them 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Scholar8200: OLAADEGBU doesn't reason on his own. He ONLY regurgitates what he reads on his favourite christian apologist websites and their ridiculous propaganda. If you tell him to list the 52 countries where him and his apologist liars claim the bible is banned he'll start crying. He bible is NOT banned in 52 countries anywhere. Only about 6 countries fully ban the bible. |

Scholar8200: **Sigh** Nothing troubles me more than silly logic. So if we follow this your line of thinking, what about all the pastors that said something similar about the Quran? Where are they today? And where is the Quran? There's a sort of special silliness that comes with being religious. It makes people shoot themselves while attempting to gun down others. It is the suicide bomber mentality and it shows up in their arguments. Look at this one now. 1 Like |

NPComplete:Very funny! You are free to open a thread on the Quran and the attacks thereon. This thread is on the Bible. So much for logic. While you set up that thread, mention a pastor in history that said something similar about the Quran; Voltaire was a figure in the 18th century so dont stay too close. 1 Like |

OLAADEGBU: OLAADEGBU such a sly fox eh? You keep coming up with clickbait topics, dog-whistle for the feeble minded. Here you are presupposing that Christians and non Christians alike all accept that all biblical stories are historically accurate. I suppose it never occurred to you that even if every single story in the bible were to be true, which we know is not the case, some countries could still impose a ban simply because....they are not Christian. 1 Like |

Scholar8200: You are a joke. You are asking me to mention pastors in history that have scoffed against the Quran. You must be high on your fart. I don't even need to go far than to look at Nairaland here and see many of your Christian brothers insulting Islam. We both know Islam will outlive all of us here. So if we follow your logic, do u agree that longevity confers truthfulness on Islam? Who doesn't know Voltaire? It seems u just read about him recently and u think namedropping him will help your point. Unfortunately no one here is impressed. 1 Like |
