Keep on exhibiting your foolishness and trying to disprove that the word IN 20 YEARS time is not a FUTURE projection from the present.

I leave you to keep trying to convince yourself that you are right.

Shut up Mr spinner. The world will end in 20 years is NOT the same as the world will end in the future.

Really? How can fairy tale not be a Nations history?

The History of Bayajidda the person we were told founded the Hausa language in Daura is purely mythical. What about Oduduwa the founder of the Yoruba nation?

So because something is passed from generation to generation means it's not a fairy tale? Na wah ooo.

Even Jews are Rabbis are saying that many of the stories in the bible and non historical yet an obscured Nigerian that doesn't even know what come is in Hebrew is trying to yap nonsense. Na wah ooo.

That is why there are genealogical trees here and there in the Bible. Kindly reference any genealogical trees in history for the people you just mentioned and I will gladly read 'em up. I believe God allowed those long list of names showing there was nothing mythical about the characters therein.

Indeed, the other time the PM of Israel was heard quoting a prophecy of Amos at the UN assembly and an unknown NL here calls that fairytale!

So all the over 7 billion people living on earth came down from Noah and his family about 4500 years ago after the flood that wiped off the whole earth abi?

Anyone who calls such a fairytale is like saying a nation like Israel is not true or does not exist. If you look at the Israeli national anthem, you will clearly see their history interwoven with the Bible. Here is a part of it.

As long as the Jewish spirit is yearning deep in the heart,

With eyes turned toward the East, looking toward Zion,

Then our hope - the two-thousand-year-old hope - will not be lost:

To be a free people in our land,

The land of Zion and Jerusalem

So what if there are geological trees in the bible? Do you know the people? Who are their decendants that are alive today? The one that traces your ancestry is written in which part of the bible?

So because a book list people that means they aren't mythical? Na wah ooo.

Too many Christians like to pretend that the bible must either be completely true or completely false, so some historically accurate place names, people and items is enough to justify everything.

They conveniently ignore the genre that the bible fits into perfectly that sits between the two: historical fiction.

Spiderman is set in New York, which is a real place, and the comics often get details of the place right, that doesn't mean Spiderman is real, it just means the writers and artists have been to New York.

Forget them abeg. Just a few years the ago the ancient city named Troy which was believed to be a fictional city was discovered by a group archeologists. Going by that we are then to believe that all the Greek Gods mentioned in stories about Troy are true and real. Their logic ehn? It's very tiring sometimes.

Very stupid logic they have.

Rome believed their city was founded by 2 brothers, one of them called Romulus, and both of them were raised by wolves. Because Rome was an empire and they believed in that story so it must be true. How can one not know his own history?

Just see the kind of stupid arguments these blockheads come up with.

Even the Chinese Xia dynasty is believed to be fictitious even though it is part of chinese oral and written history. Some people eh. Sense no be their friend at all.

lol, many Christians in developed countries have seen how stupidly illogical and false the Adam and Eve story is that they now say its "Allegorical" and have accepted evolution to be true; even Kingebukablog has joined that gang because the foolishness of the Bible's literal interpretation is very obvious to every thinking person

Shut up Mr spinner everybody knows that 20 years ahead is a future projection but it is NOT the same as saying something will happen in the future.

That's why I said saying that the world will cease to exist in the future is NOT the same as saying the world will cease to exist in 20 years.
One is time specific the other is not and that makes them different.

Even many Jews in Israel believe most of their stories are allegories. Only the conservative politicians hold on to fundamentalist interpretation of the Torah to whip up sentiments and rally national pride. And the Orthodox Jews who just really believe. Most of the archaelogical debunking of the story of Moses and exodus were undertaking by Israeli academics and universities.

But some backwater Nigerians wants us to believe the story 100%.

Meanwhile, furthermore to the facts being a historical record of a nation, another reference is the places mentioned therein. Take for example:

https://sco.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuweiba

I am yet to find a country banning or restraining the Bible simply because they thought it was not true/laughable. Perhaps other reasons but not that.
