Huddersfield doesn't deserve shít. They won because we were shít. We dominated them all game but as expected, our offense became inept once they faced a team sitting deep and our attackers were just firing blanks all day. Even at 2-0 down, i wasn't worried how/why we were conceding. I was more concerned on how we were going to get past their defence and score goals of our own. But lo and behold, our players would rather play short and safe passes to the nearest man than actually try to pick out a man in front. Plus our wing play was always dead on arrival. No accurate crosses, no overlapping full backs. Nothing!

True, one area of our team play that has held us back is the pairing of Matic and Herrera, two players who seem to be doing the same thing, all we need is one holding midfielder and another attacking mf who is also defensively conscious per match...Looking at our team, the only other MF who is good attacking wise and defensively conscious apart from Pogba is out on loan, Andreas Pereira.
Talking about creativity, isn't it shocking to see Lingard play through the middle rather than Mata? Lingard is a poor passer on so many occasions, our chance of a counter died on his feet, his passes are not accurate and he runs into opponents and falls like he is under some sort of anointing...I'm told my friends where I watched the game that if it was Lingard who was at the position of Lukaku when he whipped in that delightful cross for Rashford to score, he'd have shielded the ball for a corner...He is on 100k or so, humanity abi Ed has lost it...
