Good morning Gurus, Please i have plenty questions. I am ready to dive into the pool now. Just waiting for WES to push me inside. But, i have 2.5m which was fixed about a month ago. I need 5.5m. I am expecting 2.5m next week which i will also fix. Please, i want to confirm that i don't need bank statement. And that the 2 proofs of investment letters for the fixed deposits (that is 2.5m in 2 places. It will be 2 different accounts/banks) will suffice. Also, the start of the fixed deposits is less than 6 months. Hope it won't be a problem? I am targeting Nov 1 or Nov 15 draws and will apply before the end of Nov. The balance of 500k is my spouse's 25% of pension + monthly savings plan with a bank. Will i need to get an affidavit that i can use the money? Or the statement of those accounts alone will suffice? We intend travelling together. Then, from reading the thread, i noticed accra is faster than london. Is there a criteria for applications sent to accra and those sent to london? Thank you in advance for your responses. |

No time is bad to fix cash. No statement is needed, just get the certificates.. Use LOE to populate and explain ur funds. What's ur CRS? What's ur projected ECA completion date? dchamp19: 1 Like 1 Share |

elfmann: CRS is currently 449 using the tool. Can't see a projected date. Is it meant to be stated somewhere? Please how about the 500k in my spouse's account. Do we need to get an affidavit? Then, is there a criteria for applications sent to accra and those sent to london? Thank you for your response. |

dchamp19:How old is your spouse? I will assume he or she is below 40 years of age. You mean you can get access to part of your pension before pension age? If so, 25% of mine is more than enough to beat the POF requirement. Kindly elaborate please. |

ferfer:I know of different prices, ranging from 27-30k. And they promised next day but it took at least 2 weeks, even longer for others. And this is very recently. |

Mavor: My spouse is less than 40. Didn't know about the 40 year benchmark/rule. Thank God for this forum. So i will deduct that and use just the monthly saving plan. Will i need affidavit? Or just the statement of the monthly saving account enough? |

dchamp19:People always say it, I guess it's somewhere. Check ur Acct well well. If 5000K is in his Acct, get d bank letter nao. U previously said it is 25% pension sth. Attach the required documents either way. I hear of London VO more than Accra these days. No criterion that I know of , it is IRCC discretion, Ottawa may be d one u will get. In one month u r done with processing. 1 Like |

dchamp19:I actually meant 50 years since 50 is the official retirement age. I went to my pension manager website and it says you can access 25% of your pension fund if you - voluntarily retire, disengage or is disengaged from active service before attaining the age of 50. I will assume emigration will fit this criteria. I have already sent an inquiry email to them. Someone please answer him/her concerning the monthly saving plan question. |

Mavor: The PRA 2014 allows access to only 25% of your Total RSA (Retirement Savings Account) Balance. You should approach your PFA to do a letter confirming that this is true attaching your RSA statement and stating what 25% of the RSA statement is as at the date of issue. Also attach a copy of the Pension Reform Act specifically the attached Section to validate your claim as legal. Also you can quote proceeds of your Voluntary Contribution if you are doing voluntary contributions. you can access 100% of your volunatary contributions (if you've been remitting Voluntary Contributions)

elfmann: POF Money was already in my Domiciliary account not my Dollar Master Card. According to GTB your Dollar Master Card has a separate account number from your Dorm account. so the transfer can be done easily online only if you have an online banking activated for your by the bank. 1 Like 1 Share |
