Hello everyone. Does anyone know how to link 2 profiles "together " on the US embassy website? Even after picking an interview date. Thanks. |

Hello Elpaso Mums, I have been so lazy to write my experience since i delivered. It was my first attempt to apply for a usa visa and was granted at 30 weeks plus. I told the truth that i was going to give birth and attached with all evidence that i am able to pay and also the doctors correspondence. My total bill was doctor -2365 and hospital was -2700. The doctor intentionally isued me a receipt to show that i ve already paid which i ve not. I was granted the visa with the help of God. I went through Mary land and was not asked any serious question at the point of entry. i connected the next day to elpaso at 34 weeks but i had a nasty experience with accomodation. The ladies name is MODUPE ODUWOLE.She is a big scam in elpaso though she claim she is a nurse. i was thrown out of the house with my baby and my first born after giving birth. she collected a thousand dollars from me for accomodation for a month and i paid her for two months( i still have my change with her). and she treated me like a piece of rag. i was rescued by a Grace Lodge in elpaso where is stayed till i returened. My advise to elpaso mums is that if you hear this name please dont stay with her. she is a devil in disguise. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Fyorgyn:hi dear my location is Abuja so all took place here. I was sent a text and email to pick up passport and schedule an interview attached with the 221g form. So yes, i picked up my pasport before the interview. I had the interview on the 1st of August, that same 1st in the evening, i got a pick up text and email. That means my visa was ready same day though I picked it on the 2nd. No I didn't ask the VO to fast track it as my travel date is still far. So dearie, don't worry its just a follow up interview nothing like the 1st time. All the best... |

shrekandfiona: Thank you so much dear. I am also in Abuja I saw where you wrote that you were only asked two questions. How much you paid and if you are going for another missionary journey Biko, how much did you pay in all and did you show your receipts? 1 Like |

Fyorgyn:I paid about 8K in all. No, he didn't ask for receipts so i didn't show any. Don't worry you'll be fine. |

elfmann: @elfmann, at my first interview in 2015, all questions were directed to my husband,I was only asked about my job, I was not asked and I was visibly pregnant at 26wks plus, though as at then, I didn't know I was to make my intentions known if asked or not. Have learnt my lessons to always make extensive research when embarking on any project. So I was not asked and for the newbies, do not hide ur intentions if asked or not. Although there are people out there who still don't know they can tell a VO they are pregnant. 1 Like |

Welcome back and thanks for the warning. Unfortunately, some mums who fail to research and read abt others' experiences will still fall victim. maideyz: 2 Likes |

debby516: I didn't say so. Sometimes you should know that before someone asked some question, they would have done research too. A referral isn't a bad idea, at least it helps to confirm what you're seeing online. |

Xclusivemaama: Here is my full US trip transcript: PART 1 When i decided to use my visa for birthing purposes, my sister inlaw referred me to this thread on nairaland..So i came in here as a novice...i read through the different pages and made my jottings..started scouting for hospitals and got an affordable one in Marietta, Georgia in. September.. Called the hospital, paid my hospital bills and they emailed my receipt to me...Called their gynae clinic and scheduled an appointment with them..went to my hospital in Nigeria in my 31weeks and ran all the necessary test and ultrasound.. Booked my flight with airfrance for the 21st of October..saw on their website that i can get fit to fly from my doctor and was shocked wen i got to the airport that day and im told to go to their port health office for a medical clearance...after ranting and speaking in tongues, i sha went and paid 2k to get the cert..the fit to fly from my doc wasn't even asked for after wasting money..mtsheew!! My flight to france was rescheduled from 11:05pm to 1:10pm and we finally left naija by 2:15pm..I was the only pregnant woman on board..There was no preferential treatment wotsoever..even when they announced our boarding, they started wit pple travelling wit kids then sky priority passengers..omo na so i get up go join the queue as i was already tired and angry with the whole delay..we sha left, the feeding was horrible..i kept on eating just bread , drinking plenty water and using the toilet like mad woman. ( I made sure i chosed one of the aisle seat) PART TWO coming shortly 1 Like |

Please can you share the email or phone number of the doctor. I am also an expectant mum planning to deliver in Elpaso and I am yet to get a doctor's correspondence against my visa interview. I will be grateful if you can help a sister. Thanks maideyz: 1 Like 1 Share |
