Hello guys.

A friend recently bought the new infinix note 4 pro and after using it for about a month, the flash charge started to fluctuate. Sometimes it would flash charge for 1minute and then starts charging normal again, other times it would flash charge for about 3minutes and stop.

I want to know if anyone is experiencing such on his new smartphone? I can still remember the device was updated to the latest version that infinix pushed as OTA update.


Please who is currently or have faced same issues and was able to solve it?

Fast charging doesn't charge from zero to 100%, it stops around 60% and then charges normally to protect your battery.

This is not it bro. The icon is always on (double charge icon on battery), but unfortunately, mine switches off and on occasionally during charge, even at 20% or 10%

Check any tech review or marketing line from the brands themselves. You'd see Quick charge: 0-60% in 30mins but to charge from 0-100% takes well over an hour.

You Guys should change the cable To an Original one twl work.....
Infinix charging cables do not alwas support fast charge......

@op you're on point, I'm also experiencing this, it all started a week after I procured d phone, the fast charging feature isn't making any sense at all. When I'm still using note 3, I charge from 0—100% under 1hr, 45 minutes, but on this Bleep¡ng note 4 PRO, I can charge for more than 3hrs without attaining a full bar.

Infinix note 4 PRO is a big flop, lots of people also complaining about this on xclub. Dunno maybe it's software problem, d fone na big headache and waste of money, na d way wey infinix company dey overhype d fone ontop their social media pages everyday dey pain me pass.
I'm a big fan of infinix, but they are now falling my hands.

I am also experiencing the same problem. The phone heats up also, the battery doesn't last.

am also using note4pro and am experiencing this i thought the fault was from my charger because the flash charge icon shows and stop and it got me worried

be there thinking your phone got issues, i know what im saying, ive been there, buh if u choose to condemn my advice on changing Your cord?

JUST SAW THIS ARTICLE, MAYBE IT CAN HELP
Fix Charging Issues On Infinix Phones

1. Charging Indicator Not Displaying
First thing you need to do is check if your charger is not burnt or affected by high electricity voltage. You can do this by smelling it, if you have a blocked nostrils give someone else to passive it for you.

2. Phone Showing Charging But No Battery Bar/percent Added
If the charger adapter is okay then you need to check your USB Cable. We all know the Infinix USB Cable that comes with the phone is of low quality. Replace it with another original cable.

3. Charger Charges Other Phones Except My Infinix Phone
The possible cause of this one is your phone "charging port" it need to be replaced with a functional one.

4. Phone Doesn't Charge Up To 100%
Sometimes your Infinix Smartphone might be faced with this charging issue, to solve it, allow the battery to run down to about 2%, then plug it back to power source (night charging preferable). If that didn't work, then download "battery calibrator" from playstore to run a check on your phone battery and fix some of the bugs that causes this problem.

5. Phone Charging Too Slow
If your infinix Hot Note x551 or Hot Note Pro or any other infinix phone that uses the fast charging technology stops charging fast, you need to replace the USB cord, if that didn't fix the problem, them try charging with another original infinix flash charger and if it still didn't charge fast, then it's obvious the charging port is faulty and needs replacement.
I noticed that the major cause of these charging problems is faulty USB cable which you should replace with another one (original) to restore the flash charging (fast charging) again.

WHAT TO DO IF THE ABOVE SOLUTIONS FAILS
If after applying all the methods above and still your phone refuses to charge quick as before, then your last resort is visiting Calcare Office close to your location to get it fixed free of charge as long as your phone is still under warranty

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!


I used my INFINiX Hot4 charger head and my Note 4 pro cord and it started charging (flash charging) normally again. Although not as fast as the main charger, but atleast there was an improvement.
