cabayes: What if your school was located in one of those 'fancy' areas? Would you rather live an hour away from school? The point is that you can study anywhere you can afford the cost of living, and very easily move to anywhere you want once you graduate. Forget about 'big cities'...for now |

ponlear: The reason I asked has to do with your plans post-graduation. You generally want to go for a course that can get you a job if you would like to work. I don't mean you have to go study something Engineering if you don't have a good background for example, but do your research into the American job market as it relates your intended major. If you're going to need a company to file a work visa for you, check some of these employment statistics that very readily available online-and then tailor your path towards that. Getting a visa and funding are just the first few stages in your career. |

ElDeeVee: It's not cheap but full attention and good preparations, you can ace your classes easily. DHS that stated no job for internationals while studying knows the reasons for saying so. |

I've been trying to speak with a customer care representative on phone, I called the number on http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-main-contactus.asp#ContactInformation [+23414406218], no one picked the phone, the programmed voice was just speaking, no idea on how to talk to a representative. Anyone know of a means to speak to a rep on phone or a new number? |

Akpos went to American embassy for a student visa, and the process of his interview with the white lady goes thus: VO: what is your reason for going to the USA? Akpos: I want to go and study there. VO : which city, school and course do you have in mind? Akpos: Chicago, economics and statistics maths. Here are my admission documents. VO: but the are many universities in Nigeria that offers this course. Why do you still want to travel as far as the USA to study the same course? I doubt your genuine intention and therefore can't give you the entry visa you have applied for. Akpos: (in anger) please give me back my passport and let me get out of this place. What do you the USA has that is not in Nigeria? Do you think the USA is in any way better than this country? If you USA is better than Nigeria, why have you choose to stay here in Nigeria instead of your country? VO : ( with serious anger and love for her dear country stood up and said to akpos) look, I am going to give you the entry visa to USA so that you can travel to America and see for your self, what my country has got, the differ between America and Nigeria. ( out of anger she stamped the visa for akpos). May the anger of your enemy be your promotion to the next level in jesus name! Good evening All. 23 Likes 1 Share |

Which of the customer care representatives did you call?is it Nigeria Embassy (CGI)? Well you dial 014406218 Press the following numbers 4, wait and hear the second option then press another 4, wait again and then press 1, then press the last 1 then you would be transfered to speak with one of their agents. Hope it solves your problem bro...goodluck or jangal: 2 Likes |
