hunniesuzie: Thanks, i just checked it out on google and I've confirmed this is actually good for babies his age in small quantities though, (it has to be crushed and boiled on low heat for babies). One more thing I read is to check that its not too spicy to burn. God bless u |

Zara stopped b.feeding 2 weeks ago, but I don't have any engorgement pains after weaning. Do I still need to use cold cabbage in my bra? Zaynie Alphahandmaiden All senior mamas |

Omolayo29 update on your question. you need to consider the following: Are you going by private car or public transport. either case i would suggest taking your car seat and paying for an extra seat if going by public transport. if going by public transport, check the seat belts the car seat is to be strapped in to ensure it is not bad, and also learn how to strap the car seat in and do it your self. How long is the journey and where is the usual half way stop point? I have never been to Ilorin per se, so let me use lagos-benin as an example. Ore is the half journey point which is about 2 or so hours into the journey so you factor in any breastfeeding and nappy changes to coincide with this time. it is also a good time to stretch and let them get out of the car seat for a bit. If going by private car, planning stops are easier, public transport is usually trickier but people are usually quite considerate when a small baby is involved. If you are unable to pay for an extra seat, and if you have a baby carrier - take it! and use it to strap your baby to your self to allow your hands to be free. whilst it is not ideal especially for longer out of journeys you can then use the seat belt on both of you but you may have to hold the straps out of the way abit as it may fall around baby's neck Also since baby is like 4 months, you can put baby facing out in the carrier, this also allows easier bottle feeding and your baby is able to see what is going on and can be distracted by the journey. Plan to bottle feed during the car rides in the car seat if required in between. and unless baby poos, any nappy change should take you from lagos to Ore and from ore to Benin. Also change and feed just before your leave your base. take at least two clothes changes including vests, and extra bibs and at least a pack of wipes for the journey, take a big bottle of water as you may need to rinse / wash out stuff, Take some nylon bags for nappy changes or for soiled clothing. Hope this helps 19 Likes 3 Shares |

meggitto21: its not too late, i know someone who established breast feeding after 1 month of bottle feeding. Persistence is key. Keep putting baby to breast, Get a breast pump, and pump in between feed to stimulate production. Please Dont starve your baby, if she takes bottle continue feeding with either formular or breast milk. then offer breast when baby is not super hungry. 2 Likes 1 Share |
