I'm sure you're not aware some mobile apps can be so configured to bypass the use of the token and ask for a PIN instead.

She should make a police report....the account the money was transferred to can be traced and her money recovered.

She was a bit too insensitive on her part with the delivery. Don't run to every payment made into your account without making it known to the person that the article would be picked in public...where the both of you would be open to passers-by, not inside her car. It guarantees your safety since you have no idea of whom you're dealing with.

You could have been kidnapped and used for ritual. Next time, be wise enough.
Like she's gonna see this long story your writing. undecided

IamHeWrites:
A Nigerian business woman identified as Mercey Toluwalase, has in a lengthy post on her Facebook page recounted how she fell victim to the new robbery style in Lagos.

She thanked God for sparing her life and added all hustlers like herself should be very much careful as the year comes to an end.

Never conclude in this manner.
Online business is always same pattern
Either part payment or full then you set out to deliever.
Are you saying she should tell the customer she can’t enter the car or what ?
It can even be thier house will you say you cannot go into the building?
All we should pray is for Gods protection and his mercy.
As far as I’m concerned the lady has no fault but the society that we live.

I would have asked that you trace them with the account details used in paying you, however the possibility of the account holder been held at gun point to transfer the funds is probable, you may be unable to trace them.

Victim sends money to prospective victim kind of.

May God help and keep us. It is well with this Nation
But she confirmed receiving their alert before embarking on the journey. That means that it can be traced.
In this era of BVN, I don't think that such is not traceable. She should take it up with them.

She should have used a dispatch rider to deliver the goods since she has already been paid. No delivery person will ever follow anybody into a strange car, his own is to drop your order and go. God save us from all these robbers and fraudsters.

You don't need a token for a USSD transfer, but still she should have told them that the line that her bank account is registered with is not with her.

you may either choose a token or use a personal secret code for approving a transaction depending on the bank involve. so its not in every cases you use a token ok.

For your own safety, don't make the mistake of delivering an item to someone's home in Nigeria where there's no database for all citizens. If something goes wrong, you can't be found. Secondly, those involved in buying online and having it delivered do so through the nearest landmark which must be open to public view.
