I doubt. coruna's dmfs are wack. thats how the game was lost. i hope the new manager takes note. They dont even have a good backup goalie.

A new coach might be more conservative and go back to the more experienced keepers.

He should go back to City and resume warming bench. At age 21? A player rated to be a " future world beater"? A player projected to be better than Nwankwo Kanu, A player that was said to be in a class of his own.

At 21: Kanu Nwankwo had won the UEFA Champions league with Ajax (at age 19), not as a bench warmer but as a strike pertner to Patrick Kliuvert. He had won the Olympic gold medal (at age 20). This was the age he was diagnosed of a heart disease while at Intermilan.

at 21: Obafemi Martins already broke into the Inter Milan senior squad. He played for inter in the final of UEFA champions league scoring in the winning goal in the semi final against AC Milan

At 21: John Utaka was painting French league one red. Emerging the highest scoring African in a league that is blessed with numerous talented Senegalese, Ivorian and Malian players. Note that Didier Drogba was also in that league at that time.

At 21, Yakubu Ayegbeni was banging in goals in Europe for Maccabi Haifa.

At 21 Victor Moses was snapped by Chelsea from Wigan where he had a blistering season.

Some of you may attack me for this analysis. But the truth must be said that Iheanacho has fallen far short of expectations. He seems to be an excess luggage at Lowly Leicester presently. He was bought only to be find out that he wasn't needed in the first place.

I feel for the boy. He may just spend one season with Leicester or end up like Musa who we often forgot is an EPL player.

Even Kanu Nwankwo was on the bench at Arsenal. Making benching at 21 a taboo does not add up. Morata, a player I watched in awe in the last game against Watford, where his play sparked light bulbs in my head, coining a term I tagged a deep lying striker, was benching at Madrid last season at 24.

The development at Man City is more important than the playing time and fighting for shirt at Leicester City. I just hope Nacho lands in the hands of a quality coach although I doubt the ambitions of Leicester board members.

Then he must be ready if things backfires. only a blindman would disregard the saves he makes that shouldave been goals.

Comparing benching at Arsenal that had Henry and Beckamp as strike partners with Leicester that has Vardy and Okazaki as strike partners. Even at that Kanu had a fairly good run of games. You are even comparing benching Iheanacho at Leicester with benching Morata at Real Madrid. Chai na was o.

He should continue being a bencher all his career. Is that what you want for him? So if he is not in Mancity where he is benched he should not play anywhere else?

Look, he better performs tonight against a lower division team like leeds, else his case will get worse.

FIFA to look into changing nationality rules
OCTOBER 19, 2017

ZURICH (Reuters) - FIFA is considering an overhaul of the rules which govern players’ eligibility for national teams, including a proposal which would allow them to switch allegiance in certain circumstances.

FILE PHOTO: The logo of FIFA is seen in front of its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland September 26, 2017. REUTERS/Arnd Wiegmann
Victor Montagliani, head of FIFA’s stakeholders’ committee, said there were issues regarding the rules, which are aimed at preventing players from switching between national teams or representing countries they have no connection with.

“There are so many issues that have popped up over the years because the world is changing, immigration is changing,” said the Canadian, who is president of the North, Central America and Caribbean federation (CONCACAF).

“There are nationality issues that pop up all over the world, in Africa, there are issues in Asia and CONCACAF, so its a good time to have a look at this and see if there are solutions, without hurting the integrity of the game.”

At present, players who have played a competitive international for one team cannot switch to another national side even when they hold dual nationality.

The Cape Verde football federation has proposed this rule be relaxed in cases where the player has played only one or two games for his original national side but has no realistic chance of a recall.

Players are only allowed to represent a country with which they have no blood connection if they have lived and played there for five years, but Montagliani said his committee would look into changing that period and possibly increasing it.

World soccer’s ruling body could also look into a compensation scheme in cases where a player goes through the training system of one country and represents it a youth level before switching to another.

Everton Loanee Onyekuru Breaks Silence Over Juventus & Atletico Madrid Links
October 24, 201701

source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/10/24/everton-loanee-onyekuru-breaks-silence-over-juventus-atletico-madrid-links/

On loan Everton forward Henry Onyekuru has reacted to recent reports linking him with a move to Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and also Italian Serie a champions Juventus.

Onyekuru joined Everton from KAS Eupen of Belgium where he scored 24 goals last season, but had to be loaned out as he isn’t qualified yet for a work permit required to play in England.

He joined Anderlecht of Belgium on a season long loan, and after a slow start to life at the club he has rediscovered the form that made him an instant hit in his debut season as a professional footballer.

Expectedly talks about other clubs taking interest in him particularly Atletico Madrid and Juventus gained momentum as talks about a return to Everton in January fades away.

The 20 year old has now has his say on the rumours linking him with a possible move to either of the aforementioned clubs, insisting the his future will be decided by Everton in January.

“I’m aware that there are reports and offers from several teams, but Everton will decide that in the coming weeks,” Onyekuru told Johnny Edwards of Complete Sports.

“My focus is on my game and I hope to do better for Anderlecht. The future will sort itsel”, he concluded.

I was enjoying you until your last sentence. Please how are we not ready or prepared? We have a dead rubber match against Algeria, a top notch friendly (some even feel it's coming too early) against Argentina. In fact Qualifiers have not yet ended. I think we are on track. We just need to draw out a road to Russia map(and the NFF has said they will do and make it public)

Can you confidently beat your chest and say we are ready and set for the world cup ?

I don't understand if you are talking about preparations for the World Cup or having a ready squad for the World Cup proper cos as far as preparations are concerned I think we are moving in the right direction- a grade A friendly is coming on the back of our dead rubber match with Algeria.
Moreover I doubt if even Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, Spain, England will at this point tell you that they are ready and set for the world cup. Abi you can mention any country that you think is ready and set. Is the host even fully ready and set as at today?
With regards to a ready team we are not yet there in all departments but much ground will be covered before the mundial to ensure we have a strong team and quality bench.
