Icon4s:This is why I don't like labels to be pinned on anyone. But did you notice how the goal came? I don't know what position he played but you can see that some other Leicester player had driven forward, keeper tried to clear, Iheanacho came from deep and scored. This is his natural position as in playing behind the main CF. 2 Likes |

Mickael2:Think psychology Bro. It's good tonic for the young man. Others who shone throughout last week did it at the highest levels. If he had failed to score I'm sure you would have said chai this guy is finished - even against Carrabo, nothing. But now you don't have that luxury 2 Likes |

DrKlever: Do you have a team that can go toe to toe with Germany,Portugal,Germany or Spain. You barely escaped a defeat from a Zambian side that paraded mostly locally based players. We dont have a team that can reach the semi finals as it stands right now. |

libero808: libero808 u r doing a good job. joebie where are you its been a while I saw ur monicker and tbaba i love ur updates on the Nigerian players every match day. any one notice how iheanacho almost put a heavy touch on that pass he receive before laying it to slimani? many have talked about his poor touch but I just had the best view of it tonight, I saw that one against Zambia in the first leg but I thought it was one of those things anyway I hope he improves, just one touch can make a win and one heavy touch can also make a team lose a game. |

Mickael2:And so? by Wenger standards, which Mou and Conte align with, this is the tourney for young guys like him. But it being Leeds doesn't mean they're walkovers. Drogba can testify. |

Mujtahida: This is what Kelechi should be doing. Stop lurking around the 18 yard box hoping to catch in on a loose ball and prove a point, thats not his natural style. Kelechi is a natural build-up player with great instinct for goal. His style is play with the midfield until you get to the 18 box and then you unleash your instincts thats his style. He is not a point man. His pass accuracy is great. |

It seems the academy is very good with great networking... Who knows if Ezenwa started from them.. Might be playing in France... Remember he had altetico Madrid transfer rumour during last season... To your answer YES |

safarigirl: My example might not be ideal but it doesnt take the fact away that we are still building a team that is yet to blend fully. And your comment about playing a great team on their bad day is an isolated incidence,it doesnt happen always. Which mean whenever you play Germany you would pray they are on their bad day. Not realistic. |

OMANBALA1:lol this is really a funny comment. To your question, yes we have a team that can stand toe to toe with Germany, Spain etc. Football is a game of 11 players.. most of those European teams you mentioned may not qualify if pitted against Cameroon, algeria and Zambia. FYI no team is ready for world cup yet, we are just in preparatory stage and will get better before the mundial, but that's not a yardstick to insinuate we don't have a team. You are looking down on these guys, but you will be shocked later on. Besides, the game against Zambia was an important decider so the players where a bit jittery, believe me even Brazil would struggle against zambia in such situations.. Remember it took Kane's individual brilliance to score the goal that took England to Russia against tiny Scotland.. If we repeat that Zambia match now, the soreline would surprise you. 3 Likes |

daveP: Bro make I no lie u, I m not really good at discussing football tactically and analytically, reason is because 1) I am not always opportuned to see games frequently, Nigerian matches are the few ones I see on a frequent basis 2) I watch to entertain myself most of the times . however I really want to go deep into tactical discussions but I find it hard to do and that's y I always watch others do it in order to learn. before I only knew 4 departments on the field of play which is GK Defence Midfield and Attack now I know the sub departments like DM AM CF WF LB RB and some others. I v learnt a lot from this thread even more than playing Play Station has taught me. I really value the contributions of Kog45 Tbaba Icon4s, please where is Joseph the founder of this thread he also is a member of the honourable elders, someone who has slotted into this thread without any look of a newcomer is soetanoreoluwa, I like his contributions too AiG07 where at thou, in fact everyone on this thread is great I appreciate always being here. Goke too is someone who drops by time to time. thegoodjoe I no 4get am. forgiveness, Mickeal, elyte and omanbala, how can I forget Komekn. he believes league 2 in England is bigger and better than the eredivise in Holland (na joke o bro). so davep I'll join in the tactical and analytical discussion when I get the full grasp of it which is very very soon. for now I'll discuss the ones I can and no I'm not waiting for the NPFL that's a long time from now. 1 Like 1 Share |
