Players IN:

Mohamed Salah – Roma – £36.9m
Dominic Solanke – Chelsea – Tribunal fee TBD
Andrew Robertson – Hull City – £8m
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Arsenal – £35m

Spent: £79.9m + Tribunal TBD

£79.9m = >$100m

African budgets

Guinea Bissau = $129m
Soa Tome =$88m

What you saying?

Wow there's some really shitty African countries out there.

The difference between Klopp and Mourinho is that Mourinho spent more than that amount on just one player.

So I suppose what I should have said is Klopp hasn't spent the annual budget of multiple African countries in one transfer window...unlike Jose Mourinho

So of course the criticism has to be commensurate with expenditure.

May be you should be appointed the united manager, since from your home you know the fitness level and match readiness more than the manager, the assistant, first team coaches and physios to determine who to come on in a match and who to be replaced. Yes we as fans should question the manager, but labelling him a coward from the confort of our keyboard for something we are not sure is totally classless.

fighting for the league title in a two horse race with passengers like Wenger, Kevin kegan, Dalglish, and gerrald houllier. SAF is a once in a life time manager and a genius, but he had it sooo easy, he can afford to lose so many points at the start of the season, and still win the league as other managers always fall like a pack of card. if that happens now, he will be thankful for with a too 4 finish. Fergie wins league with very low point total. in this current set up of "top 6" it may be argued that he wont win that league hall. our very poor season total of 69 last season would have been title contenders in some seasons

Nothing has changed on here. Still business as usual! Hian!

It's like some people forgot Fergie made many finals in the UCL and competed with a Mourinho's studded Chelsea team, not forgetting a City club who bought heaven on earth into the team with the likes of prime Silva, a prime Yaya and Aguero whereas Fergie kept on competing with the likes Park jin sung, old Scholes, makeshift old Giggs, a mediocre Cleverly and Ando pig in midfield; a declining Rooney and bambi on ice (Welbeck) in attack, with old Ferdinand, Vidic and injury prone Da Silva twins in defence.

As a matter of fact, RVP, Nani and Carrick were the only quality players Fergie had in his last few years at the helm and two players of these players were players with huge inconsistencies in their games. I could have also mentioned Jones but he was quite injury prone. In spite of all these, Fergie kept us fighting for the league every bleeping time yet you had the nerve to claim it was easy for him?

Are we also supposed to forget that we made 2 UCL finals with these mediocre players from >2010 but got outclassed by a worldclass Barca team in the 2 finals? We could have made 3 finals if not for that stupid turkish referee that wrongly sent off Nani in the Madrid match.

Yeye.

That he assembled a team that costs the GDP of some countries and struggled to overcome a championship team. Cmon we all know how this goes. Let's not pretend.

Choi! Hypocrisy...It can be baffling. After all the insult Mourinho has been receiving even when he wins Pep is untouchable because he won wolves on penalties. You peopld should continue. We will be here season end to see who goes home with the trophies again.

That's the bit I'm not understanding - you're trying to criticize a manger that won his match.

When Jose who spent similar amounts of money if not more, played similar opposition very recently and lost.

Help me out here...

“I feel great, it was a great team performance. I thought we controlled the game tactically to bounce back from the weekend.

"The last time [I scored a header] was on loan at Brighton against Leicester. It’s a different way of scoring for me but I enjoyed the moment.”

- Jese Lingard
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 1:09pm On Oct 25, 2017
“I think we’ve got good feelings back again after the defeat at Huddersfield. I think we had control of the game, we played quite well, moving the ball.

"The strikers were brilliant tonight, Jesse [Lingard], Anthony [Martial] and Marcus [Rashford], so very good feelings.

"Also I want to say that we can also get kids like Axel [Tuanzebe] or Scott [McTominay], they can help us. They have played tonight very well with a lot of composure. I’m really happy for them, so good feelings tonight.”

- Ander Herrera

“It was an amazing experience to get my first start of this season and it was even better to go through to the next round and with a strong performance.

"I thought we were confident throughout the game and we had it under control. In the second half, we were really good.”

- Scott McTominay

“It was good. You are just kind of waiting for your opportunity to play and the gaffer told me earlier this afternoon that I was involved so I was chuffed and I gave it my all.

"There’s nothing better than playing for Manchester United in front of a big manager as well at a big club – there’s nothing more rewarding as a younger player coming through.”

“You are always disappointed when you lose a game. We played better than we have been recently, but Manchester United deserved to win the game, no question about that. They had that extra bit of quality and they deserve to go through.”

WHAT'S GOING ON WITH LUKE SHAW AT MANCHESTER UNITED | Football News

By Nick Wright and James Cooper

Luke Shaw is in contention for only his second appearance of the season when Manchester United face Swansea in Tuesday night's Carabao Cup meeting live on Sky Sports.

The left-back became the world's most expensive teenager when he joined United from Southampton in 2014 for £30m, but he has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho.

So what's gone wrong for Shaw? And is he running out of opportunities to impress his manager? We asked Sky Sports News reporter James Cooper for the lowdown.
