Another solution is go to installed applications Find Download Manager process and clear all data

settings> additional settings> language and input,>google voice typing>offline speech recognition check if any voice sets are downloading under install and cancel/stop downloading then “auto update language at any time, select language in notification bar and download it

Thanks bro. Although when I checked GSMarena it wasn't mentioned that the Redmi 4x supports OTG. I hope it's just an omission.
omission...that's the device I use...used OTG countless times already

On ads, kudos to everyone who have opined. I wouldn't talk on it ab initio but it becomes pertinent to aver the originality or otherwise of some protests here.
Perge seems more pained than everyone one else. His argument looks convincing but a deeper sift of it reveals facade.

Perge:
How much is Note4 global now?
Questions of this nature have been minimized if not abolished courtesy of frequent price updates. Maybe you want everyone else to pass through what you went through to acquire your device which is parochial really. Many do not even know that guests using 'Naomi' devices are more than registered members. Let users of mi mix, mi 5A, mi mix 2, mi pad 2, mi6 on this thread quote me. Very few if there are any (maybe mi6)

Don't be a dingbat! Always keep your impoverished low self esteem to yourself.
I hope oga perge knows what nairaland rule he violated with his above post. This is today's post and one of the very many posts under his signature but violating 'rules'. It is laughable that he didn't implore any mod to do the needful then.

The Nougat update is being pushed to random users. You should get it by next week.

If you can't wait, you'll probably need to reset your device. Backup to an external sd card before proceeding

I have a suggestion for us as regards advert:
I'm proposing that instead of our sellers here posting a long advert, maybe they can just post the link to that advert here. Whenever there's an update, they can update the original post and post the link here with a caption, NEW UPDATE. This way, you're still making your advert, newbies/those who are interested will still see ur ads easily and those who are not comfortable with your long post would have been soothed!

Make you na no take offence o, na just a proposal.

Or @honsule, advertisers can be allocated a quota of ads (weekly or monthly) that they should not exceed or face sanction.
Just offering suggestion since it seems to be a burning issue. Personally, I have no problem with the ads, I find them useful and inspiring.

More sense fall on you as well too boss,am glad to see,we still got reasonable members here

Whar rules exactly do u keep talking about?am waiting for the mod to come and explain the said rules to me,and am still patiently waiting for the thread to be closes down as threatened as well, even befor the said mod came around,we don dey run our biz on this thread with no issues.
Normally i dont ask for nairaland monikers of those i place orders for,
But i went a bit back and made a research on yours, you were a major beneficiary of most of the ads placed here, infact you benfitted even more than others,i guess because you feel you av gotten your device now, others shldnt take advantage of the sweet deals avail right?

And to be honest,i still dont see how this ads disturbs anyone frm getting help on this thread, why all of a sudden some certain people started complaining, and its not as if they are even major contributors on the thread,

My own ads are here to stay!! worst una go do na to ban me!! It wont change shii.

My take on this ad thingy, I have not seen "a cry for help post" that has not been dealt swiftly by grandmufti and some other people on here, most guests visit this thread mostly to ask for price of the various models of the phones and what not. As always in this country, we always look for things to get angry about. LOL.

U dey mind them?

It is funny really guy. Some of these 'agitators' benefitted from what they are campaigning against now. Some of them pleaded out their pharynx to even enjoy promo prices, weeks after promo ended sef and 'advertisers' freed them. Now they've gotten their devices, gotten for friends and haply foes too hence adverts are disturbing. I don't know when posts started obstructing one another here. Adverts don't let them see other posts, grin
