Good day house, I went for my interview today and I was denied, below is the transcript: Vo:good morning Me :good morning Vo:where are you going Me:Miami Florida for Bleep conference Vo: who is sponsoring this trip Me: my boss Vo: reading the company email he pronounced the company name. Vo:will you be going with your boss Me: yes I will and I have a copy of his visa and passport if you would like to see Vo: okay no need for seeing that Vo:are you married Me: yes with a daughter Vo:explain what the conference is about Me: I explained but I was too fast stating the meaning but he kept nodding in approval Vo: have you ever travelled outside Nigeria Me:yes Ghana for vacation with my husband Vo: what school did you attend Me : I told him my University Vo:how long have I been working for the company Me:2 years plus (So the conversation stops in this next question and very sharp end too) Vo:are you seeking free medicals in the USA Me:I said no and shook my head. Vo: typing for a few seconds he handed over the blue paper(heart breaking) he said he won't be approving today but I can reapply at any time My question is , is there a device at the embassy that scans pregnant women cos I did not disclose I am, if he had asked me if I am I will have told him but instead he asked me in a different way, the conference is for 3days and I already have a hospital I use here and I would have to come back here cos they have my records here in Nigeria. Secondly I wonder why most of the Vo in other Windows kept asking(except mine )if the applicants have been outside Africa, especially the black American lady in window 5. @seyewest and everyone please advise 1 Like |

gbodsman:Hmmmm. Hmmmm.... The color of refusal papers are not cast in stone. The embassy can and have printed on several colors. The only thing one needs us to READ THE CONTENTS. I wish folks would know the true status of things before answering and misleading others. Cc: the person alluding to another's color blindness 1 Like 1 Share |

@mislilybeth. Il be a bit blunt here. Madam. Whether they asked or not, why didn't you disclose? When asked if you would use medicals, per your own admission, you clearly understood that was a run around way of asking if you were pregnant. Whether or not you intend to birth, why didn't you state it. "thou I am pregnant, I won't Bla Bla... " Well the advice I have is for you to travel else where. There are like more than 44 options to choose from. 3 Likes |

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by seyewest(m): 10:16pm On Oct 25, 2017 |
mslilybeth: In case of next time... it is your firm that sponsor the trip/conference not your boss.... Secondly are you pregnant? I still don't get why pregnant women with no intention of birthing in U.S apply for U.S Visa because if the V.O ask you if you're gonna seek medical care in U.S what will you say? you have to come clean on everything including disclosing your pregnancy even if you don't have any intention of birthing in US. 2 Likes |

Good evening Lady G,seyewest and everyone that's sacrificial in helping people with issues that pattern to US visiting visa. I pray God will reward you abundantly and you also not lack help in Jesus name. Please I have questions concerning filling of D's 160 form online for my spouse and I. I have taken my time to read through but part 2I haven't seen a question that pattern to mine. Please what does mean by ARRIVAL FLIGHT AND DEPARTURE FLIGHT. also, we planned visiting the US for Christmas and I was thinking of applying next week until I saw in this forum that's available dates is January 3rd. So I quickly go ahead to pay in case I'm able to see any available dates. My question is should I go ahead and book appointment because I have not finished filling the ds160 form and I'm yet to add my spouse details too because we intend going for the interview together. 2 Likes |

goodman31: you don't have to fill that...just fill the arrival and departure city... keep looking out for date and it's advisable that you submit your form before anything. 1 Like |

@ op and others. Please am i banned from entering the UNITED STATES ? This was what happened . in 2007 i applied for a US student visa, and i presented a fake waec results. my visa application was denied. Though the reason for the denial was not as a result of the fake waec result as the visa officer had already denied me and told me she wasn't convinced i was a genuine student before seeing the fake waec certificate . It was when she told me she wasn't convinced i was a genuine student that i insisted i was genuine that she demanded for my waec certificate that I presented the fake waec result to her. She didn't tell me she understood i forged the results. she glanced through it , gave it back to me and repeated she was still not convinced i was a genuine student. now my concern and my question is , could it be possible she found out the result was forged but didn't want to tell me but instead silently banned me. i ask this because after glancing through the fake waec certificate she gave it back to me and went to her system and typed something. In essence i want to know how they ban people. do they normally tell the person they are placing him on a ban ? do they do stamp the person's passport and place him on a ban ? and could it be possible that the thing the visa officer typed on her system be a remark that I presented a false document and i should be banned ? i just want to know how the banning process works and how I can find out if i am already banned , as i have never applied for US or any other countriy's vsa since that time till now. And am currently planning to apply for a visa and visit the US, this time around with everything genuine. |

banom:Haha. You crack me up here. Asking this question nearly or after 10 years of your application symbolizes that you probably might have been guilty of ban. Sometimes, folks don't tell exactly what happened and often turn around episodes. Yes, the VO would inform and issue you a paper in that regard. But don't really know if they do it now. However, what you gonna do right now is to send an e-mail to the embassy stating your full name, passport number at that time and the category of visa you applied to confirm your eligibility. And refrain from fake documents. 3 Likes |

StFrank2: Fill your DS-160 application first. As soon as you sign and submit, you will see three options on the confirmation page. (i) Print Application (ii) Print Confirmation (iii) Add family application ( or something like that) Click to add family information and fill in the form. Then in the appointment booking platform, create an account, fill in your details, follow the prompts and add dependents. Goodluck |

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by OmoBendel24: 5:17pm On Oct 26, 2017 |
richardsfoster09: The "RECENTLY" is actually the bad thing in your case, much more like a deliberate attempt to sway the VO, days where that a travel history to these countries mattered. Even SA and UAE travel history seems to be declining in strength now sef. This is why we will not relent in our effort to sensitize our people to cut down seriously on their lies and desperation in visa pursuit and misuse of visas granted them too, not spelling well for the rest of our people coming from behind generally.... 1 Like |

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by KaptainAfrika: 6:36pm On Oct 26, 2017 |
It doesn't mean that you don't have a legit reason to go to those countries, but a lot of people have "disvirgned" their passports by having these countries stamps on them - fake or real, fake as in having agents stamp on them, real as in travelling to them because its cheap, there's no visa required and it gives them some sort of travel history. If you have no travel history, you can still get the visa. IMHO. richardsfoster09: |
