Pls sir staking optional in cucumber farming? I use to believe it's compulsory. also sir what spacing did you use during planting sir?

I have seen farms without staking. But it is preferable to stake, the vines can spread on the ground too. I n which case your spacing should be enough to give the plants allowance to spread.

I used a spacing of about 50 cm between plants on the row.

I have been seeing flowers for almost 10 days now , I have not started seeing fruits, what is happening ?
Almost all the flowers seems to be male.

I paid a visit to mile 12 market today to make enquiry and arrangement for sales.
The 25 kg bags are sold around 3000 naira while the 45 kg bags are sold about N5500. The prices fluctuate from time to time.
