i don't know much about their payment for now cuz i haven't secured one yet and the reason is that i ignored all the posters around me advertising vacancies because i since that's how scammers do in Lagos, i thought it's same here not untill when i risk it and called about two of the numbers picked from those poster adverts, i have attended two interviews now, hoping for a positive response. This is for Kumasi anyway, i don't know how it's done in Accra.

when i just got here, i used to spend like 4 - 5 cedis only on food.. Cuz i only eat once, i brought garri (cassava grain) from Nigeria and then i bought a long bread... So i usually buy jollof rice/plain (white) rice of about two cedis, meat one or two cedis and then pure water 1 cedis (which is 5 in quantity). So i did that till when i was able to settle, i now have cooking stuffs. So i might eat in the canteen like only the morning and take garri or the bread at night or bread/garri in the morning and then buy food in the evening. That's how i survived it till i got an apartment and bought cooking stuffs. This is all in Kumasi.. I don't know anything about Accra. Thanks

yea i rented apartment from the 600 USD.. I am in Kumasi and it's cheap, basically everything is cheap, but don't bother to convert money.. That's the wahala.. But according to their own currency here, it is cheap, you'd get taxi for 2 cedis or 5 cedis, bread 5 cedis (the shoprite type of bread) and many others. Though 5 cedis if changed to naira would be something N420 or so.. But since you'd be spending cedis, you just have to concentrate to it, and with their economy and their currency, it's cheap. House rent 3 years, you might get some places that they'd give it out for 2 years but they will surely collect 2 years and above.. And some landladies (about two) didn't rent out their house (room) to me because i am a Nigerian, they said some of their friends have some Nigerians in their place and they (Nigerians) do cause alot of trouble.. It was the third landlady i met that gave me a room cuz she said she has been to Nigeria once and they were so nice to her. I heard things are somehow expensive in Accra than here anyway.
wow thanks for the info bro I really appreciate

you will be given a 60 days stamp at the entrance.. If you come with ABC, Cross Country and the likes, it is thier duty to help you with the stamp.. They will collect your passport (i mean all passengers) and tender it at every immigration office. You will then change it later at any immigration office for a token. But nobody is asking for any work permit before they'd recruit you but it's a must to always change your visiting so as to extend your stay and you can do few other official stuffs.
