Could Fulani Culture Be Part Of The Reason Herdsmen Are Being So Violent? by ConcernedRusian: 3:17am On Oct 27, 2017 |
Beyond just Islam, Fulani and Fulani herdsmen have a culture that is extremely backwards, even by the standards of the Dark Ages. In addition to many being ultra-conservative muslims, violence and strength is fetishized and valued highly in Fulani tribal culture to their extremes. Many people wonder how the Fulani are capable of committing such atrocities while maintaining straight face I will compare and contrast the Fulani with another group of Sahara nomads, the Berbers, to show you just how vile the Fulani lifestyle really is. Coming originally from the North, the Berbers have inhabited the same regions as the Fulani have for thousands of years, and they have settled populations (many "Arabs" in Morocco and Tunisia are actually Berbers by blood) and also nomadic populations (Tuareg), just like the Fulani. Berbers Fulani On Women Berbers have a history of treating women with respect and having women in high positions in society, even after Islam. In the Middle Ages many Women were leaders of tribes, though with the spread of Islam this has become much rarer. The ancient Numidians (Berbers) had female warriors and scholars, and during the Islamic takeover of the Maghreb, there are tales of Arabs attacking Berber camps thinking that there would be no resistance as the men were gone, and instead being slaughtered by the armed and deadly warrior women living in the camps. The Arabs mocked the idea of women fighting as cowardice, but the Berbers saw this with pride and happiness. To this day, there is tremendous social respect given to women in Berber society, even in the most staunchly Muslim camps. Many women in Berber society have independence and marry as adults. Fulani are violent and barbaric towards women. There has never been women occupying positions of power or influence in the ultra-patriarchical Fulani society. In Fulani society, physical abuse, torture and violence is seen as a sign of "love" for one's wife. There are women who are forcibly married by their family at age <10 to old men just like the story of Muhammed and Aisha in the Quran TO THIS DAY. There are women with scars and broken bones who have been violently assaulted by their husbands, yet have been brainwashed since childhood that this horrible treatment and social control is simply "affection" by Fulani standards! They are trapped from birth till death in a prison, married to an abusive and violent man, not allowed to explore the world or have ambition or think for themselves. It is evil. If you have a culture that sees violence, abuse and assault as "expressions of love", then you have a very backwards culture indeed. More comparisons soon. 1 Like |

Africa in general have a culture that is backward hence we are going 10,000 years of decline in our civilization. Athens had democracy with free and fair elections with no disputes 3,000 years ago. Rome had the first census, accurate and undisputed 2,500 years ago. Today's 'civilized' African can not count votes or people without crisis. The decline continues 1 Like |
