Kontagious: Oh! Thanks for the correction. I didn't see the reading score. I thought it was 8.5. @Mavor, it is not advisable to request for a remark because the chances of getting an upgrade in the listening/reading module is slim. It will add just 6 marks to your current CRS score if upgraded. |

Good morning, I have a question to ask. I have a sibling (younger bro) that studied in Canada. After first degree he was given a chance to have Canada experience. He has since been working for over 2 years plus now. At the moment he is renewing his visa to PR and has enrolled for CPA. Though I think he is being nominated by his current employer and sure they will grant his PR. He has lived in Canada for over 7 years now and never visited Nigeria. My question now is, can I calm point for sibling staying in Canada? Are there documents I need to show? I appreciate any prompt response. I need to calculate my CRS score based on the answers I get from this question. I really need that 15 points |

IykeD:I honestly can't tell if she did but I doubt. I don't think you should decline as long as your reference letter(s) will be in sync with the new NOC. cc: 40manlappy |

I am just super excited and overwhelmed right now. All glory to God because He indeed answers prayers. Just checked my IELTS results now: Listening: 8.0 Reading: 9.0 Writing: 7.5 Speaking: 8.0 Got just what I needed in all bands to get maximum scores. CRS now stands at 453. I pray UNIPORT sends my transcript to WES today as promised so that my evaluation can be completed. Can't wait to dive into pool. From here henceforth it's from glory to glory. Special thanks to @yimiton, @Sunvick, @Dhimmy, @Algbenguze, @Hephgirl who encouraged me to rewrite IELTS when I shared my profile and former scores (LRSW 7.5, 9, 7, 6.5). They helped me calculate my possible CRS if I got an 8 in listening and told me I had no business with PNP. Today your advice has paid off. Thank you sirs and ma'am God bless you all. To all hopefuls keep holding on, it's just around the corner. It will end in praise. 32 Likes 1 Share |

So I haven't really written how far with me coz work and pikins had person hand full. My 1st attempt of IELTS last month was 7.5 in Listening and I knew I had to register again plus WES decided to sit on both my degree and Oga's own. Anyway, I took the 14th October test in Abuja....those who took it that day knew what we went through with regards getting everything to work and we left the venue at almost 3pm. My results today: Listening - 9 Reading - 8 Writing - 7.5 Speaking - 8.5 Overall band 8.5. Just glad I'm done with British council . And I'm very grateful to God. Advice for folks taking tomorrow, especially for Listening, discover what sections you fail most. For me was the Matching and Maps. I practiced them like forever. I developed a strategy for matching because I realized that while you are struggling to keep up with the audio, you are struggling to read the options and also decide what fits. 3 things at a time! So what I did was write out everything the audio was saying for each question and move on. Later I came back and read what I wrote and matched it with the options given. For maps, I traced my pencil on the paper as the audio played and stopped where it stopped. For Soeaking, I have already posted what I used, For writing, I used pen not pencil and before I started I drafted a mini flow and gathered my thoughts on my answer sheet, took me 10 mins but after that, I started writing and never stopped till I was done. And still had 10 mins to count my words. Above all, God was involved. Good luck to everyone tomorrow. 35 Likes 2 Shares |

You can only claim points if he has gotten his PR approved and card in hand because you would need to show proof of this when applying. RuggedArab: |

Likewise me, been busy in office, wish i can take 3weeks break. Preparing for IELTS. Back to your question, since your ECA is not ready, you can not apply for SINP EE because it requires your EE no. So, I suggest you fasten your ECA so that can 'jump into' the pool. Your age, degree and experience should give above 430. Recheck you CRS hugoe: |

Your questions on gift deed. I will answer them together. 1. Gift deed from family member makes it more genuine and acceptable. From someone not your family member looks dicey and the visa officer may not be convinced it is actually a gift and not borrowed. 2. I didn't attach my dad's statement of account. But if you think attaching it will help and not raise eyebrows you may attach it. But this means the account must show the giver is rich enough to gift out that sum. 3. I attached the transfer slip from the bank showing my dad's name, amount and date of transfer and the beneficiary. Its better to use a transfer document like cheque, transfer slip etc just for easy proof. 10 Likes 5 Shares |

Hephgirl: Thank God this made you smile, I believe you too should dive into the pool, God's favour and our prayers are with you. You will get ITA dear. Can't dive into the pool now o, uniport has delayed in sending my bsc transcript to WES, I really regret adding my bsc for evaluation, I should have just stuck with my Msc. But it's all good, just a little bit of patience. 1 Like |
