Has anyone ever gotten a bank reference letter from GTBANK with the CIC format stating account opening date and average balance in the last six months. Hitting a roadblock in that regards. I've only been able to get bank statements for six months but make LOE no go too long jare.

epp. @ @ @ @everyborry. I no call name o. jus comean epp me

Letter of signatory with the bank statement of 6 months will do. Your LOE will just have an extra line stating GTB doesn't give bank reference letter in IRCC format on savings account. Shikena.

Ok. I get now. That's not skill transferability. You dropped 3 points in official language under 'core human capital factor' and not skill transferability. 8777 with 2 or more certificates/masters and also with 3yrs experience gives you 100/100 in skill transferability. Check again.

Got it! Sorry for derailing.

Practice your IELTS and you will get better scores next time. PNP is a very long and expensive route.

I am a Lasuite. The process of getting transcript from the school is very easy. All you need to do is to apply and pay online. It is usually ready after 2 weeks. In fact, i'm through with my certificate verification. I submitted my certificate to WES via fax and applied to LASU for online verification of the certificate. It cost me 6k and everything was completed withing 2 weeks. I am currently waiting for my transcript to be sent to WES. I did that 2 weeks ago and paid about 21k to LASU.

@Kontagious, will I get a follow up from LASU, I mean, will I be called from the exams & records that the transcript has been sent because I have no means of reaching them and I can't leave my place of work for now?

Thank you.
Hi,

I see you paid for certificate verification, I didn't but WES still accepted the certificate on review. I'd speak about my request.

Request (including payment) for transcript was done online. For about two weeks from the day of request, I tried to get a contact that I could just at the least confirm when the transcript will leave school. About the 3rd week, I was told it takes about 2 weeks for the transcript to leave school. Exactly three weeks in, WES updated my profile to acknowledge receipt (I took that to mean transcript got to WES three days before that update).

Like a week or so after the update of documents received, status changed to awaiting verification, because I didn’t know payment was required, I stayed back and did nothing. Somewhat, status changed to document received along the line and so I thought LASU had responded to the verification only for that status to change back to awaiting verification some days later. I didn’t know what prank WES was playing, I mailed WES asking for clarification if the verification had been received or not. WES responded speaking grammar that they’d complete the ECA as soon as verification is received.

I gave about one more week to see if status would change to verification received but no, it didn’t. So, I went to school to confirm if payment is required as I had read a 10k is required (the post I saw was made about a year, wasn’t sure if the payment still applies)

Got to school and was told I needed to make 10k payment. Later found out during the visit that verification request had gotten to LASU 20 days before I went – just about the time I got update of awaiting verification. File was sitting fallow among other request yet to pay the 10k. To your question, I don’t think anyone from school will call you.

To wrap it up, you transcript should be acknowledged by WES maybe from third week of request but it shouldn’t exceed four weeks… If it exceeds the 4th week, please find time to visit the school. Then once you get status change to awaiting verification, you have to get to school as soon as you can to make the 10k payment. The verification request is sent via mail so school should have it before you get there. Once the 10k payment is made, school should respond within a week and your WES profile updated accordingly. I got the update within a week.

@Jummolami, please help clarify if you paid for verification, you can include timeline and modalities as well. Thanks

Elders in the house kindly proffer answer to my enquiry.

Hello Eyoiba, to my understanding it will depend on whether you accept the nomination or not. If you accept the nomination 600 points will be added to your CRS, but if you get higher CRS points before you accept the nomination then I think you're good to use the new CRS and waive the nomination. My opinion though, seniors can weigh in.

Is it possible to cancel the BSc and still retain your points, if you have MSc? or do they go hand in hand? Please kindly run that through again?
Yea sure. It's not compulsory to evaluate both, just your msc would give you maximum points.

My spouse canceled Bsc with WES along the line cos uniport was wasting time to verify and went ahead with just Msc.
If you're an engineer tho I'll advice you to evaluate both as you'll need it for licensing.

Good morning great minds,
I would like to apply for Sask SNIP because my CRS is low (419). However, my wife is planning to write ielts in January 2018 and I hope she would score enough points to push us to ITA.

My question: If I apply for SNIP and get nominated can I still proceed to do FSW if our CRS increases in the future I.e do have an option of using the crs that suites me or I just have to stick with the SNIP once nominated? Is this the same with other Provincial nominations?

The province will either process your PR application entirely independent of the Express Entry system, or you will receive an additional 600 points to your express entry score, thus guaranteeing your selection in the next draw if you are nominated under the SINP stream.

Hello dtush, pls I need further clarification on the bold part. My additional documents changed to " we do not need additional documents" last week from "additional document submitted is being reviewed" does that mean my application has been transferred to LVO? I had ADR in September.

The status update does not necessarily mean it has been transferred to London VO. But it could have been transferred to a local visa office. You can send a mail to find out. Although, finding out does not mean u can do anythg to speed up the process. Na to just pray they pick up your file.

Friday – My 3rd favorite F Word. TGIF guys, please I’d like to confirm the following:

1). Work/Residence Permits: I’ve been legally resident in Liberia since 2010 but I DO NOT have my work and residence permits from 2010-2014 as they were in my old passport which I lost in 2015. My new passport only has the most recent residence permit which I got in 2016/2017. Please what do I do in this case? Or what document do I need to get? Will a notarized affidavit suffice?

2). POF: A friend back home in Naija was owing me over $3,000 which she paid and I deposited into my dollar account sometime in July 2017. If When I get ITA this November on November 1 and submit my application this November, the month of July will be included in my 6 months POF which would show the sum of $3,000 being deposited into my account (by me) in July. Will this pose a problem? Do I need to write an LOE?

Thanks my people!

Please guys, still awaiting a response. Thanks. smiley

Hello,

I have reference letters for the 3 of the 4 companies I have worked and these amount to 3 years and 2months. I was unable to get a reference letter for the first company I worked with for 7 months but I have payslips for the period I worked with them. I hope to put the 3years and 2months work in Work history and the 7 months one elsewhere will be alright.

Thank you for your detailed update.

Like I said earlier, I think the verification for my certificate is over based on the information I had earlier stated that I made online payment of 6k for certificate verification to LASU. On my WES page, the status read 1. Academic Transcript, Bachelor of Science, 2012
Not Received
2. Degree Certificate, Bachelor of Science, 2012
Accepted

After receiving the transcript, is there any other process or verification to be done based on the information above?

Thank you.

so sorry about this. but since your CRS is 431, you should dive into the pool with it and also give IELTS a shot again. I feel the draw score would plunge but it is always best to have a back up plan. Your ITA awaits you. sooner than later, you would have it.

1. You are required to only submit your recent passport. You don't need to submit old passports or expired travel docs.
In some exceptional cases, CIC will request for ADR where you'll need to now submit scans of your previous passports. If that comes, I guess you could do an affidavit explaining that you lost your previous passport. That shouldn't be an issue. I'm pretty sure you won't be the first to do that.

2. No, it won't pose a problem. If you want to put your mind at rest, you can write an LOE. But this isn't usually a problem. Many people have submitted statements with lump sum deposits later than 6 months and have not had issues with this. As long as your POF exceeds the required amount, you should be fine.

These your worries are not even close to showstoppers smiley

Good day Good People,

Please has anyone gotten ADR for travel history and how did you go about filling the form IMM5562E? I just got an ADR same day medical was passed and UCI issued. the letter reads:

"Travel History Info form: Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information".

I already provided these information on the eAPR. I also chose "yes" for visa refusal in the statutory questions but these refusals were on an old and expired passport so I did not include scanned copies in the application.

Now I don't know if to just fill-out the form with valid passport and travel history or include the past expired passports and refusal stamps on them.

Any one with experience on this should please offer some assistance. I don't want to over do or under do.

Thanks in advance.

Download the form online and fill it starting from your latest travel date. You will probably only be able to get 5/6 trips in. If you have more, take a plain sheet of paper and fill in the rest of the trips in the same format as the table on the form. Put your name and UCI at the top of the extra sheet. Also scan your stamped pages and visas to show evidence of travel history and resident information requested. Upload in the placeholder on your application.

I am just super excited and overwhelmed right now. All glory to God because He indeed answers prayers. Just checked my IELTS results now:

Listening: 8.0
Reading: 9.0
Writing: 7.5
Speaking: 8.0

Got just what I needed in all bands to get maximum scores. CRS now stands at 453. I pray UNIPORT sends my transcript to WES today as promised so that my evaluation can be completed. Can't wait to dive into pool. From here henceforth it's from glory to glory.

Special thanks to @yimiton, @Sunvick, @Dhimmy, @Algbenguze, @Hephgirl who encouraged me to rewrite IELTS when I shared my profile and former scores (LRSW 7.5, 9, 7, 6.5). They helped me calculate my possible CRS if I got an 8 in listening and told me I had no business with PNP. Today your advice has paid off. Thank you sirs and ma'am God bless you all.

To all hopefuls keep holding on, it's just around the corner. It will end in praise.

Congratulations. All the best going forward.
