This your comment can give birth to many more arguments. And u dey talk say make we ignore unreasonable comments. grin

OMANBALA1:
Why not, lets throw the camp open and choose the best legs like we do with under 17. Invite everybody including Onobi,Ajagun,Lawal,Olofinjana,Mutiu Adepoju, Ajibade Babalade and my whole kindred and destroy the whole process just because I have deep seated insecurity.

And if that didnt work lets invite my clan members in England like Adarabioyo,Solanke, Lukman an co and see if they can use English clout to break into the team just so my inferiority complex can be fixed.

Listen up everybody, you must learn to ignore unreasonable comments ,except if you want to make fun of these elements of division.
Super Eagle has a unit we are working with and the dumbest thing to do is to start attracting unfamiliar faces who will bring their own ego just because they are veterans. I love this current Super Eagles more that the other set for one thing we dont have egotistic elements in this team.

Mikel is very calm and matured
Onazi is very humble and matured
Ighalo is not even sure if he is a sure starter
Balogun is very focused and disciplined
Iwobi,Iheanacho and Aina are like little kids who play in the sand
Ndidi seems to have strong character but he can be benched anytime
VicMo doesnt have the pull to generate conflicts
The rest are just there and dont care for power that much....Abdulahi na correct Malam,Echiejile is very worried,Simon Moses is very dispensable,Ekong knows we are watching like vultures, Ogu has pull but he will have to wait to start playing...lol

My point is dont mess this good thing we have going on..Daalu nu.

Comparing Kane to Aguero is like comparing David Beckham to Luis Figo. Its not even fair to Kane. If the guys knows what's good for him he better remain in Premiership.

And who is the agent? And who is the player?

Oga Forgiveness and Komekn, please you guys should shelve this talk about Martins for now, I am totally sure that after the next two games we will understand why we need these guys, for now just like me, let's be watching.

Regardless of the results, there is no present justification for inviting Martins.

He has one assist and zero goals since July.

There has to be strong justification for invitation.

That's good news. Have you seen him play there? I mean, besides his cameo appearance in the game against Zambia?

Aina can play LB comfortably. You only call it makeshift when we are actually trying to patch him there. That's not the case o

Yea, I think so too. However, I would like to see him play LB in a full game before I can make that call. Anybody can play well, in any position, for 10-15 mins, you know. Let's hope that Rohr gives him a start at LB against Algeria in two weeks.

It's unfortunate that we don't have a tested and trusted replacement for Echijiejile at the moment. I wish Aina plays in Echiejile's position. But I think Aina did well when he came in for Echiejile against Zambia or what do you think?

ehen.. so whoever Rohr likes to invite, let him invite. If he leaves out our preferred players, lets not cry foul.

he's the one in charge and should do everything that pleases him.

the blame and glory goes to him and that should motivate him not to follow people's comment when he feels the comment doesn't tally with his goals and philosophies

no body will come out and say he gave him the advise that made him to fail but everybody will surely blame him for the failure

Obviously, there are too many Harry Kane fans here. So this is an argument that I can't win sad

However, I would caution you guys not to get carried away by the hype especially coming from English pundits.

And by the way, I wasn't trying to imply that Kane isn't a good player. Like I stated earlier, he's a pretty good player but any comparisons with Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo is delusional. And I don't see him reaching that level either .... because I don't see how/where else he can still improve. I think he has maximized his talent and even beyond sef. Yea, that why I called Mauricio Poch the best coach in the world at the moment. He can get a bunch of average players and get them to play even above their potentials. He's an amazing coach; the Argies tried everything to get him to manage their national team but he didn't want anything to do with the Argentine FA.

O pari

komekn:

The statistics are not made up for two seasons he has been numero 1, where goals are concerned. He may be selfish but he is clinical in front of goal.

You may not want to call him world class but tell me who is clearly better than him. Once you take out Ronaldo and Messi.

Give credit where credit is due the dude is a baller.

By the way that's what was said about Gareth Bale going to Real Madrid. Well the rest is history he is holding his own and competing with the best.

Martin has no value to add to that team. End of discussion.

His last assist was on the 22nd October 2017. prior to that he didnt play for almost 2 months due to injury.

In the world of blind men a one eyed man is a hero. I will wait for Harry Kane to move a little higher before I will take him serious. Granted he is a prolific score in a middle team premiership but he will flop in a balanced team like Arsenal,Man City,Chelsea or Man United. He is a typical English player like Alan Shearer. Even Rooney is more technical than Kane. Kane is strong ,fast and has great instincts for goal opportunities but he is not Aguero,Cavani, nor Lewandoski. Then again I have prejudice for English player...I think dont work a sshhit. Sorry guys,I dont like that country, their throne or what they stand for.

He was available in August and scored no goals.

Martins was out for 4 weeks not 2 months.

Why don't you wait for him to regain form?

Kelechi is your highest scorer in the qualifiers. Even at that, he has been dropped to the bench. His last goal for Nigeria was not that far away.

Kayode did not play games in the summer. May, June, July were holidays.

The chinese league was on in June and July.

Martins is not on form right now. When he returns to form, bring back your argument.

It is very common. Agent bribe coaches to field their players. That is how you get terrible players like Ndifreke playing for Nigeria.

Question now is CAN we trust Rohr? 80% of the team that executed qualifiers must make the wc list anyway.

Rohr does not need the money thrown around by agents and money is not his motivation. I believe, he really wants to build something here. That is the adavantage he has.

From now on if I don't see substance in the news I won't post it. Reason why I ignored ANS report about the Serbia friendly but posted The Eagle Online's version rather. ANS apparently stole the news (didn't reference any source) and there were no direct quotes.

And that's the reason why we are having this Martins debate -- baseless reporting.
I wanted to join in posting news but when I discovered that those guys spin and form news I just lost enthusiasm to do that.

Just because somebody call for Martins, no mean say they believe in old legs. enough of the tagging. Forgiveness for example have always clamored for young players.. so just because he call martins that means say he is in #TeamOldLegs. Me i'm in #TeamPerformance oh.

so much talk about building for the future. The inclusion of Martins can never derail that. I'm not clamoring for Martins but why are we crying as if should Martins manage to make it to the mundial the career of the plethora of 21 year olds we have will end. In fact i'm impressed with the pool of players we have in that 18-22 age range oh.. And I must say so much can happen before Qatar 2022. Team building is a continuous process with a mix of young and old (that are relevant). And it should always be so. Show me 3 solid CFs today that are proven in SE shirt, then I will say forget Martins. But let's truth be told, even at his age many of these young kids can't match his recent stats. Well, but I will be fair, let them battle it in camp. Rohr will not accept bribes.

GBAM !!! I second the motion without reservation.

Guy forget about the recall of Martins and co. It's going to be counter productive. I'd rather an Onyekuru be drafted in, even a Tammy or Dessers or Onuachu than Martins. We've seen them before. At least I know Martins is not Rashidi even if he might be painting Chinese league red with goals. Ighalo is doing that almost every week. We don't need Martins or Osaze. Let's move forward abeg and stop trying to color the future with paint from the past. We have newer beautiful colors I am hungry to see.

I disagree you don't seem to appreciate the exceptional experiential quality that Obagoal can bring to the SE.

The diction you use is baffling, you talked about using the term EVEN.

You can't talk about EVEN with Tega Abrahams this guy is the youngest striker that is tearing up the premiership. How can you compare Dessers, Onuachu, and or Onyekuru to him even in terms of performance he is ahead of Ighalo and the darling of many KC.
