that's how they treated Alaba, Adekanye etc
I dislike people who discriminate.

And their sins must be remembered. From now on I will go against any appointment of Amuneke in any of our National team. An eye for an eye. Sentiments first before performance for him.

The question we should ask is what was Amuneke response to the letter.

probably a response on the papers saying, "anyone who thinks they are good enough should come to camp. I don't believe the hype"

yes and don't underrate people's ideas because they are just Nairaland warriors. There are diamonds in the rough everywhere.

TheGoodJoe:

At 16 years of age, Villas-Boas had not finished his studies when he noticed that Robson, then manager of Porto, was living in the same apartment block as him.

Robson would go on to win the first of three successive titles that year, but for fan Villas-Boas, he was making a mistake in keeping striker Domingos Paciencia on the bench.

The youngster wrote to Robson raising his concerns and the UEFA Cup-winning coach responded by asking him to supply data to support his argument.

He soon did. Villas-Boas sent back a raft of statistics and arguments pinpointing why he was correct.

Robson was so impressed he offered the Portuguese a trainee position with the youth team’s coaching staff, and the rest is history.

Robson was a brilliant and well respected football coach but still miss some points. It does not mean because of coaches top positions, they can not miss details.

Many people end up in other fields for many reasons. If we should go by what people are really good at or blessed with, many will not be in their field today.

Rohr To Join Eagles In Morocco, Squad List Out Next Week- Report
Published: October 28, 2017

Rohr To Join Eagles In Morocco, Squad List Out Next Week- ReportSuper Eagles manager Gernot Rohr will link up with the national team players and his backroom staff in Morocco on November 5, ahead of next month's World Cup qualifier against Algeria and international friendly against Argentina.

The Nigeria Football Federation chose to camp in the North African country as it's easier to connect a flight to Algeria and get accustomed to the climate.

''Coach Rohr is going straight to Morocco to meet the players for their preparation against Algeria,'' Super Eagles media officer Toyin Ibitoye told completesportsnigeria.com.

''The camp will open same day and we are all looking forward to the game.''

As earlier reported by this website, the Nigerian Federation are expected to announce a list of players summoned for the upcoming games after this weekend's matches in Europe.

Gernot Rohr is cooling off in Bordeaux before his trip to Africa .

Nigeria tackle Algeria on November 10 before a high-profile friendly with Argentina four days later in Southern Russia.

Wilfred Ndidi is EPL Midfield General

He may be only one season old in the Premier League but Wilfred Ndidi is already leaving his mark on the most prestigious football league in the world.
Ndidi, 20, joined Leicester City from KRC Genk for £15 million in January on a 5-year deal and has made the midfield his comfort zone.

After 9 Premier league matches, the Nigeria International leads the stats board for most tackles made.
Ndidi has made 39 tackles, 7 more than Huddersfield’s Aaron Mooy, who comes second on the list.

as per Squawka, Ndidi also tops the list of tackles won after 8 matches played – in comparison to Aaron Mooy and Everton’s Idrissa Gueye – but with more minutes played.

I read somewhere not to sure though that u17 is meant for only home grown... That's the reason why most abroad grown players have not beenn included in Any under 17 tournament... That's according to NFF...

And if we check AmajuPinnick well... He only eye England alone... Even before we became NFF president

I was not surprise by his appointment.. He works his ass out for NFF.. From endorsement deals to LMC.. To Nigeria league package.. Think he deserve the appointment... Round peg in a round hole..

Makanjuola and Ovie Ejaria were part of Manu's under 17 team.

I think, it was a personal decision by Amunike to focus on homegrown. I think if a player shows this kind of interest, he should be screened.

I wish him goodluck! Come to think of it, Shehus and football are like 5&6... since 2000. If he wants to further, he should target FIFA jobs, and not Glass House topseat. I'm tired of the brouhaha that follows after every world cup year.

At least Shehu can complement Pinnick. He is the LMC chairman, so let's expect progress in the NPFL.

If little Messi is clocking minutes, why not? He can always return to Europe. I want to believe your career is still on track if you are playing in the NPFL.

Little messi is one of the most outrageous names for a Nigerian player. He was no where that good. His left foot was not refined.

A letter to Emmanuel Amunike 2yrs ago before the 2015 U17 Fifa world cup.

Deji is a patriot and must not be overlooked.

Hello.
My name is Deji Ousman Beyreuther.
I was born in Göttingen and played for Sparta Göttingen. Then i moved to Hannover and played for Tsv pattensen. My Trainer was Stefan Mertesacker, father of per mertesacker(german national player). Next i moved to Frankfurt because family reasons. Now i play for the Bundesligaclub Fsv Frankfurt. I was born on the 06.09.1999 and play for the u17 squad. I think its the right time for the nationalteam. My mother Heike Beyreuther is German and my father Lukman Oladimeji is Nigerian. I would like to participate in the Nigerian nationalteam and not the German because i love the Culture, the passion on the Field and my motivation is my uncle Mohammed Oladimeji Lawal who also played for the nationalteam. I am actually a defensive middlefielder but play left defender and feel more confident on this Position as i played there this season in which we successfully finished on the 1. place. I weigh 65 kilogram and I am 1,78 tall.
My strong foot is the left one but have almost the same qualities in pass and dribble and skill with the right. My role is as an offensive left defender who supports the offense with dangerous crosses and direct longshots. In my first season at Fsv Frankfurt i became captain because I give commandos and support my team to lead to success. I follow every match of the golden eaglets and think that my abilities will support this team.
I hope to hear from you soon,
kind regards,
Deji Ousman Beyreuther
Source please. I am interested in this piece. Thanks in advance.

Thank God we have foreign coach,am apostle of given local coaches chance due to our ex international who had d opportunity of playing in Europe and are into coaching believing they must be better than home bred coaches.

If Deji letter is true then Amuneke did not do well not necessarily for d guy to make d team, give him d chance.

The same thing happened to Sammy Ameobi when he willingly came to U20 camp but Obuh said No,a month later d guy made his debut for Newcastle main team.

I remember Manu Garba gave a boy playing for Chelsea a chance in his team to UAE 2013,we need more of this from our coaches.
