The whole thing is too bad. First that wasn't even a letter but a comment posted in the comment section of Completesportsnigeria.com after their interview with Emmanuel Amunike in 2015. Now those owngoalnigeria.com guys went ahead without stating the correct fact that it was just a mere comment on the comment section of Completesportsnigeria.com and wrote the following headline on their own website as in owngoalnigeria.com's thus: Evidence - Bundessliga Teen star Deji Beyreuther begged Ex u17 coach Amunike to invite him in 2015.

Now that spurious but injurious headline and the warped article that followed it will go viral and do unspeakable damage to Amunike's reputation.
This, guys, is how our perceptions of certain individuals are formed from outright lies.
And this is why Joebie and I have cried ourselves hoarse concerning the damage those guys are doing. It's terrible.

Professional contract for Deji Beyreuther

U-19 player Deji Beyreuther has signed a professional contract at Eintracht. The left-back has been handed a deal until summer 2021.

Having only moved across the city from FSV Frankfurt in January of this year, left-back Deji Beyreuther did not need much time to find his feet and soon impressed for the Eintracht U-19s. The 18 year-old has now signed a professional contract with the Eagles until 30 June 2021.

Beyreuther was already training regularly with the first team during pre-season until an injury forced him out of action. After three months on the sidelines, the left-footer made his comeback with the U-19s against 1. FSV Mainz 05, and was then called up to the senior squad by head coach Niko Kovac for the DFB Cup game against 1. FC Schweinfurt 05.

In Deji we have a very talented player in our U-19s who’s already knocking on the door of the first team after a short time,” said sporting director Bruno Hübner. “He’s a player with huge potential who we see playing for the first team in the future, having trained with them again since his injury. The fact he was on the bench for the cup game against Schweinfurt underlines our confidence in his ability. We fully believe Deji can make the step up to professional football.”

Beyreuther himself was almost lost for words after signing: “I’m overjoyed that Eintracht have given me this opportunity. I feel completely happy here, at Riederwald and in the stadium. To see my name in Niko Kovac’s great squad fills me with huge pride. I’ll do my best to repay the faith.”

I believe owngoalnigeria.com reporters are part (members) of this group so most times they just pick up news that comes in here.

Naijaphobia:
After I dug this out from archive this morning, owngoal.com are now making news out of it this evening claiming they have evidence of Deji's letter to Amunike in 2015. Pure lazy journalism by owngoal. Am appalled!!Just wanting to take credit where not deserved. Even refusing to acknowledge completesportsnigeria.com as source.

For clarity, Deji actually commented on a report on completesportsnigeria.com in 2015 where he made himself available to Amunike for selection.

Deji, I wish you all the best and may your left foot turn sweeter till it flows into our cups when you finally find your way into the Super Eagles. You have started with the Eagles(Eintracht Frankfurt) , I pray you end with the other Eagles(Nigeria).

I doubt if they are part of this thread. I know from where and how they got the 'letter'. And I've written to the person responsible advising him to take it down. It's damaging to Amunike's reputation because a comment on the comment section of a website can never be a letter. And therefore to say the young man begged Amunike and was refused is nothing but bareface lies

Well for the first time in recorded history of football England have dominated the entire age grade competitions. U20 and U17 world champions.

Also for the first time EVER the number of black and mixed race boys outnumbered the Caucasian boys. Bringing new levels of athleticism, technical ability and pure swag. The U17 team at one stage had only two oyibo outfield players. That's unprecedented

For a country that to me is intrinsically racist particularly in football this is for me AMAZING.

That would only make it easier for the countries to claim their property. Also they would suck without our children.

Rohr Chasing Hoffenheim Defender Akpoguma Rejected By Nigeria U17 In 2011

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr is still combing Europe for players who can provide options for his team ahead of their campaign at next year World Cup in Russia.
Roht who has successfully convinced former England youth international Ola Aina to switch allegiance from England to Nigeria as cover for the left full back spot is also keen on German youth international defender Kevin Akpoguma.
Akpoguma captained Germany to a 1-0 1in over Nigeria at the 2015 World Youth Championship Championship in New Zealand, but he could easily have been playing for Nigeria.
In 2011, the defender who is now one of the first name on the team sheet for Hoffenheim approached the coach of the Nigeria U17 team Monday Odigie indicating his interest to be a part of the team.
” I saw the story you guys (Owngoalnigeria.com) did on Deji-Ousman Beyreuther, Akpoguma suffered also similar fate in 2011, but today he is wanted by the coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr”, a family source told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” Akpoguma approaches the Nigeria U17 coach back then but he wasn’t given a look in. He ended up playing for Germany same year before rising to the role of captain of their U-20 four years later”.

to be honest....corruption in this country is not only found in the political circles...

many of this coaches are corrupt..and agents are corrupt..

we're struggling getting many of this players...because of the greed and myopic views of some of our past cadet coaches....

In summary your problem with this team is fullbacks and CF.

Due to this u are recommending Taiye Taiwo,Obafemi Martins,Osaze Odenwegie,Ike Uche.

But why d old legs and not young ones like Stanley Amuzie, Ransome Madu as LB,Kayode Olarewaju, Peter Onwuachi as CF(9)

Stanley Amuzie and Madu are hardly starters in their clubs, I love Madu but he is not there yet. I guess the coach has invited Kayode and watched him yet decided that he isn't good enough, so we move on

I have a big genuine success story from an insider about some quality foreign born players making waves in Europe's top five leagues who have called in saying they are reconsidering their earlier stances of turning out for their European nations, I would have loved to share the news in details with us here but for the prying ears, let me shield my sword until it's reported by THENFF.COM. We wouldn't wanna repeat a mistake. With these developments, expect some changes and stiffer competitions in the defence, midfield through to the attack.

I fear for Omeruo, Agu, Echiejile, Nwakeme and to an extent, Ogu.
