Op i want to ask you something,i'm a student in Nigeria due to graduate next year. My question is;is there possible of a US citizen not related to me to finance my immigrant visa to the US because there's one who promised me that because of my altitude and the way we interact. Secondly;can i work in the US without going for NYSC here because i don't think i can wait for that. Thanks

Yes. only if the person becomes your Spouse.

How Guy M makes his money:

Client pays for oil tank remover

The oil left in the tank belongs to Guy M except the client specify he wants the oil (which he later sells at 2$ per gallon)

He gets money from Scrapping the Metal. and more money from the coppers.

Sometimes, we bring out the tank whole. Guy M resells it or keep it (example in pic) for oil storage

Working with (or for) Guy M is the easiest fakkking job i have done so far in the US. Most times, We spend more time driving to the Place than actually doing the job. in 30 minutes, we are done. Sometimes, the tanks are underground. We use excavator to dig it out, cut it, clean out the sludge, excavator brings it out of the ground. we take it to junk yard.

Most times, we need permit from the Fire department to work. And after we are done, the fire department comes to inspect to see if there is a leak.

so in total, I make roughly usd850 to usd970 per week (but now my hours are getting cut, i probably will make less in few weeks).

Oh, i used to work another job months ago. it was dish washing (before my manger switch my shift to the evening). I fakkking hated it. JESUS Christ!!!!, it was the hardest thing i have ever done in my life. i was paid 12$ an hour. The dish machine is hot, so hot. you will be sweating. my hands peeled off, they become horrible looking cos you have to deep your hands into hot water plus washing chemical and scrub the plates and pans.

Even if you wear gloves, it still is horrible.

Adjustment of Status update

Lady K has been calling the JP contacts we got and finding the most flexible person to officiate the ceremony. What she doesn't know is that i already found someone and informed the JP of the plan. i told her to make sure she gets day of on her birthday. that we are going to the park just to relax and have a fancy lunch at a restaurant after grin grin

Her sister will be flying in from Newyork. He dad said he can't make it and sent his blessings (her step mum is kinda a bitch tho). one of her friend will be there. My friend from work will be coming. we are getting married at the public park. BEST wedding i ever dreamed off. Less than 10 people, at a beautiful park. My parents want to come from naija (yes, they have visas. old people get visa easily grin grin). i already informed them to save the money. we are on a budget. We will celebrate it with them later.

Don't do it yet. it sounds like a sudden surge of cash. Register your business. Make it official with documentation evidence. Wait a while, make transactions with your account. build a healthy account balance, travel to some neighboring countries for leisure (if you can. Traveling is education) then apply. That way, you have a Higher chance.

You're welcome. Sometimes ( a lot of times), travel history helps your application. it is however, not necessary/compulsory.

Having a travel experience often times, helps Visa application. Just do your part and do it well

grin grin grin. i opened the account to troll religion section of the forum. so that the pastors that quote me will unintentionally be mentioning BJ grin grin

I traveled to the Caribbean with an undergraduate admission. When i applied to schools, i never had my Uni transcript (i no get money apply for transcript, alawi wey neva reach grin). Only thing i had with me was my SSCE cert and notarized copies. It was when i got there and settled down a bit i decided to apply to graduate school using my transcript sent from naija ( i spoke to admission officers of different dept and they encourage me to apply after going through my credentials). I was admitted to three different Graduate programs ( one of them was in another campus in a different Caribbean country. the same school have campuses all over major Caribbean countries) Meanwhile, the program i settled for in graduate school was in another Caribbean country. When my admission was granted, i moved to another Caribbean country and start the hustle again grin. so my classmates in my first semester, I became their graduate tutor before moving to the other country (Imagine the shock on their face when they saw me like no be dis African guy we take class together months ago? grin grin)

Yes SSCE can get you admitted once you produce scratch card for online check. Undergraduate scholarship is hard to come by. I didn't get one. However, for graduate schools, they have so many full funded programs (MPHIL). Most are in sciences. once, you are admitted, your program is paid for in full. but you will do research, write paper taya. it is strictly for people wey like research and they pay you stipend too for being graduate tutor (i think it is like 1300USD paid on the first month to cover three months)

Canadian embassy denied my application that year (2013) so i was vexing when i applied. (Canada embassy took 5 months to go through my application and still denied me, it was an awful experience). I wasn't required to pay tuition when i was admitted. Took their admission letter to their consulate and got the visa. it was all like magic. When the visa came out i started telling my people to "help my ministry". My dad was against it. He was like "you wey don finish Uni for here, you wan go start another degree for Caribbean. Not even America, Caribbean!!!". i was unfazed. (you know that mentality when you don give up on Naija). I must leave o. Took my visa together with my admission letter and supporting documents, apply for transit visa, i got it. That was when people started taking me serious. so everyone rallied around and help yours truly with plane fare and some pocket change

No convenient visa category can make you migrate in this situation. you can only get an Non immigrant visa. I'd suggest you look into F1 (student) visa. Reason is that F1 gives you enough time to decide exactly what you want to do and you get the opportunity to work while you decide. However, if na B1/B2 you get, there are laid down ways by the Immigration and citizen services how you can adjust your status while in the US

Just took the admission to their consulate plus print out of my uncles bank account and letter say he go pay my tuition. however, the visa was way easier. i wasn't expected to pay anything until i got there and had to register for classes.

so, getting the visa= get admitted, simple

So, when you got there, you had to work before going for study...if yes, are students allowed to work in their first year?

you can work as long as you can get a job. when i got there, i started putting 2+2 together. I had to register for class to get my Student permit. So i register for one course. What i enjoy is that the school is flexible, you are not required to do all the course at once. you can register the minimum that makes you stay as a full time student. it was when i found out about the yankee program to work i started targeting meeting the requirement (you must be a full time student, good GPA, less than 30years at the time of registration)

When i got there, i also believed when everyone told me there are no jobs in their country. When Hunger wire me and i was running out of money, I started looking for on campus jobs everywhere till i got my first job. Mind you, the jobs i did didn't pay my tuition. it paid my accommodation and food and i was able to save to pay for the yankee program. It was when i worked in the US the first year that i was actually able to pay my tuition myself.

let me share a story with you.
I met this naija guy in one of these Caribbean country. This guy is the definition of Hustler. This guy practically na street guy. He too sabi. HE said he traveled through brazil to this Caribbean country i met him when he got their visa. He came through student too. When he got their student permit, He no show for school, went to another really cheap school. He got their citizenship after some months (don't ask me how grin grin). he waited a while, then got his 10years yankee visa ( this particular country gets 10 years visa). He traveled to the us back and forth. he started importing used phones. He lives in the US now as a permanent resident but have business over there.
