A woman, reportedly married with kids, and a man (believed to be her lover) were found dead in their car in Ogba, Lagos this morning. According to eyewitnesses at the shocking scene, their naked bodies indicated they were allegedly having sex before their deaths.

it's possible they died out of suffocation if the windows were up. Sleeping inside a car alone with the windows up can cause death how much more when they were doing something that would make them require more oxygen. Not to sound so judgemental, this is First Class ticket to hell.

depending on the situation. I don't think carbon monoxide poisoning alerts you before it kills. When they were on it, they were ignorant that there body needed oxygen until it was too late or maybe they were resting after the deed. But in whichever way, only an autopsy can reveal what actually happened.
