After plastering, would you advise I install the doors and windows before the POP? Or I should complete the POP? A friend told me to complete the POP first so as not to get the windows damaged and stained. However I'm wondering what happens to the POP with our torrential rain if there's no window.
Please help.

It doesn't really matter how you do it. It is is fine whichever one you do between POP and windows/doors.

From my own personal experience, I will advise you to carried out the work in the following orders
1. Window installation
2. POP work
3. Tiling work
4. Door installation should come after completion of tiling work

I like this order:
1a. Turkey/Chinese/Local Iron/Steel doors before tilings so all the braces underneath can be leveled/tiled.
1b. Also if this is bathroom or kitchen with tiles all around the doors... makes it look better and rounded.

2. If Wooden doors with or without architraves, install the frames or sub-frames first and all around well plastered.

3. Install the actual Wooden doors after the tilings.
Sorry.. if I have missed anything. And I stand corrected.

Here is an example of a building with flat roof.
This five bedroom flat has a flat roof, as you can see from the picture, the roof is completely hidden and other building geometry is used to provide the necessary esthetics

Like you said, l actually also think FRAME of Door should be installed before Tiling, but the DOOR itself should be fitted after Tilling.
Doing so helps to firmly hold the frame in place while ensuring that the Door Pane has the Right length to reach Up and touch the Tiles tightly to avoid some pests sneaking under the door (like Cockroaches going from Kitchen to Bedroom! )

Bros these roofs are very possible here but more costly. This is because you have to lay rubber felt on the entire roof because our volume of rain.

Concrete slabbed roof.

In Africa, Its used mainly in the Northern Africa area (desert area). They have just 2 or 3 rainfalls in an entire year.

My experience with Concrete Slab Roof (decking) is not pelasant at all.
I like to relax on the roof top at night (privacy) and gaze out at the sky so l decked my house using concrete and l do enjoy the overflow area a lot.
But the downside of this (and what makes me not to attempt it subsequently) is that though it does not leak, it absorbs a lot of heat during the day time and literally pours it down into the house at Night.

You can feel the heat it has soaked-up duing the daytime, pouring down on you at night, even with the 2HP A.C at full blast.
If PHCN takes light, no amount of fan can help you because the fan will just be sucking the heat down on you, from the Concrete Ceiling.

I will strongly advice using other types of Roofing (like Sheets, Aluminium, Slates, et.c) because those ones dont store heat like a Concrete decking.
