From experience 2weeks ago. I qualified on some days and didn't on some days.

The guy at uber's prolly juste wanted to rush through with the explanation.

It's a 6am-12midnight hourly guarantee that cycles everyday.

If you don't do 0.75 trips per day per 75%acceptance, forget guarantee for that day.
Move on to the next.

I will suggest you leave both uber and taxify open for requests then turn off the other only when you've accepted a request on one. Advice coming from a potential driver with 0% experience though

uber is getting back their customers =drivers/riders gradually

Uber has more users. You'll definitely get a request quicker on uber.

I think the taxify app has problem getting request when you are mobile.
