Abbylee: Hi Abbylee. Yes, the reference letter from his current employer will suffice. He DOES NOT need reference letters from previous employers since he's claiming points with his current job. |

tosinkay:You don't need to get your transcript yourself because you will risk rejection of the transcript by WES. Apply online at https://alumni.unn.edu.ng/itranscript Let the school send it directly to WES and ensure you attach the transcript request form with your WES reference number clearly written on it. Search for WES fax number and send any other document via one of the numerous free online faxing websites. The cost of sending UNN transcript outside Nigeria is 35k and since you're using WES, you will pay additional 10k for verification. |

Your writeup gives my motivation. Mine stood at 405 with LRSW: 7.0, 8.0, 7.5, 7.5. I made painful mistakes in the listening test as I was very anxious on the exam day. I took the test on the 14th October for the first time. I am gingered now to retake on the 2nd of December hoping to get an 8 in listening as well. Please what have you learnt to do differently in securing atleast 8 in the exam. I will appreciate suggestions please coz i keep getting 32 in all my practice tests. Thanks chizilulu: |

Instead of writing main exam multiple times, why dont you enroll for mock exam first. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by jelmusboy(m): 11:35am On Oct 30, 2017 |
There are many online mock exams and practice tests. You can't compare real exam with mock exam. The atmosphere and tension is different. All one need is confidence and relax mind. It is not difficult to pass if one is not nervous. codew0rks: 3 Likes |

Abbylee: Hi, he won't have to provide letter of reference for those jobs included in his personal history. Then on the reference letter not having salary, he could upload his employment letter or last promotion letter in addition. One of these letters will show how much he earns. Also, he can use the LOE to give necessary clarifications. All the best. 1 Like 1 Share |

Please my people still on the POF matter. I want to apply by December 2017 and my wife has the POF as a fixed deposit in her account. If she transfers to me by first week of November 2017, I will have had the POF for a maximum of 2 months by the time I apply. From what I have read on the thread, a Letter of explanation alone from my wife should suffice as a backup. I don't want to liquidate the investment yet. My question now is, can I wait till a day or a week before I apply before liquidating the investment so that my wife can transfer to me. I would like to know if there is anyone with a similar experience and did you get PR at the end of the day? |

I dont think you need to liquidate the investment. The certificate of FD is enough proof with a letter of authority from your wife that the funds are unencumbered. dane15: 1 Like 1 Share |

smslive2: Thanks smslive2. Is it not safer to have everything in my account? The application fee plenty o. As the PA, I want the funds to be in an account with my name to reduce risks. What do you think? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by smslive2: 12:52pm On Oct 30, 2017 |
There is no risk to it at all Check the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp and Page 0 of this Thread for more information https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled dane15: |

dane15: Hello bros.... If u read this thread and d cic website carefully, u will discover that for sure, POF can be in the bank account/name of the PA or d spouse, or even a joint account between them... Many members here have used investment certificates and SOA plus an authorization letter of their spouses and these were accepted. So there is no risk whatsoever. But if having all d funds in your own account will make u sleep easier, then no problem....go ahead and transfer it. Make sure u also add an authorization/consent letter frm your spouse. Cheers. |

perks: I think the person should use WES. @Enocoded4life used WES for her hubby's Nursing degree (I don't know if the evaluation result is out though). |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Newmum0615: 1:19pm On Oct 30, 2017 |
You do not need to liquidate the funds or transfer it to your account. Just get your spouse to write an authorization letter stating that she is giving you access to the funds for the purpose of your immigration process. This one sef is the least of any of your EE problems. So long as there is evidence of the funds and source, you are good to go. dane15: |

Pls, my husband is the PA, he submitted his application few days back, but majority of the proof of fund is a fixed deposit in my name which has been in existence for years, but am thinking of converting the fixed deposit into treasury bill now since I just got to know that TB yields more interest. I will like to know if there won't be any implications for this decision. Thanks. |

PresVA: I think you should read what I posted here about this. Should help you get an idea how the NOCs apply. The ministerial instructions are quite clear about it. https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/305#61562655 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello all, Pls i'm very new on this thread. Hubby & I are just starting d whole process. Does anyone know abt IJMB programme used for DE into University. Does it qualify as two or more certificates plus BSc. I'm looking at all avenues to improve our marks. Thanks. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by cochtrane(m): 2:08pm On Oct 30, 2017 |
Deyonsesi: Not very sure about this. But some people have reported that Unilag diploma has not been assessed as additional qualification You could try to assess it. It shouldn't give any more trouble since it's the same university and you don't have to pay WES extra for the assessment. |
