Oh Andrea Pirlo was doing it at great level then with Juventus.

Buffon just won best keeper in d world still with Juventus.

Defoe still in d premiership,i remember he went to MLS one time and returned back to premiership.

Patrice Ever still stealing d show at Marseille.

Danny Alves moved from Barca to juve now at PSG.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic from PSG to Man utd,pls check d pedigree.

With due respect to Martins he lacks d pedigree of these players.

Martins is a Nigerian player who is still active and if Rohr decided that he want Martins,no issue,he is welcome,it's left for him to prove himself.I remember Keshi gave him a recalled but couldn't meet up.

Can you pleases explain what you mean by pedigree?

Ighalo and Nwakaeme are solid 9
Kayode and Iheanacho are there too, so what else?
aodis:
For me about the returnees , since the striking and goal keeping position is a problem, Rohr should call all the strikers rearing up now and good keepers and see which ones is potent. The truth is Ighalo alone will not surfice !

wonderful point.
Which is why i'm of the opinion that we need to build a relationship with them, so they will feel more Nigerian. So when their careers pick up,
it won't be awkward for us to give them a call up then.

Exactly.

It will be good for Iheanacho and any other Naija player finding it rough in their present clubs to read this article. Look for a coach that'll bring out the best in you. Simone Zaza and Guedes left their previous clubs and are doing very well now. Especially Zaza, he didn't have to die at West ham before he knew that league was not for him.

It's not on a lighter note ooo. Seriously there's strong contention especially from Onyekuru if he replicates his club form in the GWG for Musa's place. I really want Onyekuru to pose a serious stake for that RWF position so that Iwobi can move to the centre. Let Moses, Musa and Onyekuru battle it out for the RWF.

I have foreseen that Rohr never wanted Kayode in the first place despite his exploit and I noticed that he is trying very hard not to play him because I don't understand why he never started him over two friendlies.

If he really wanted to see his ability he would have allowed him to start in one those friendlies but he rather played him 10 - 20 minutes to the end of the games.

He must give equal chances to these players called. Nobody should hide under the success of the team without playing a single match before going to the world cup.

Omo, what exploits are you talking about exactly? How many goals has Kayode scored this season? How many games has even started for Girona?

I watched him closely yesterday and I can't for the life of me see anything special about his game. He was a 80th minute substitute or so, and tried very hard to get into the game. But all I could see for the 15 mins he played was all hustles and nothing else. He's way behind Kelechi and Jude Ighalo in the pecking order.

To me I really don't see the need for Musa in the team if he can't prove his mettle. He is down the pecking order (just his name and past achievement going for him).

I hope this Aaron on the purported list isn't true cos the guy has been relegated to a backup striker at Spartak. Instead of an Aaron I'd suggest Joel Obi be added to the middle of the pack let's see how it goes from there.

And by the way, am I the only one who thinks that this Argentine friendly isn't such a great idea at this time? Right now, I think we should be playing only the friendlies that we're most likely to win, so we can accumulate as much FIFA ranking points as we could before the final world cup draws are made. If that's the case then matches against the likes of Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Belgium, Spain, France, etc. ought to come later in our preparations - after the final draws are made.

Someone please tell me that I am not crazy!

Let me use this opportunity to correct you:it's Ebuehi not Ebuechi. This one too: Ojokokojo not Ojokolo.

Joel Obi as a CM is good but that means either Ndidi or Onazi will slide. That's if Obi gets into the team and into the first eleven.
