Thanks for the clarifications, boss.

If so, then I am fine with playing the Argies and the other top teams immediately so we can start working on our weak links. My major concerns was the FIFA ranking but if it isn't gonna be used for the World Cup seeding then it's all good.

No, you are not crazy.

Firstly, the October rankings would be used for the World cup draws. The November games i e Algeria and Argentina would be used for November rankings which will not be considered by FIFA for the draws

Secondly, nothing wrong with playing Argentina now. That game would possibly expose a lot of our weaknesses early enough so we start early enough to correct them from the AFCON qualifiers and other friendly(ies) early next year.

the draws would be made with the October ranking

so as it stands now, the friendly isn't going to affect the ranking to be used for the draws unless you're talking about Qatar 2022

It will be good for Iheanacho and any other Naija player finding it rough in their present clubs to read this article. Look for a coach that'll bring out the best in you. Simone Zaza and Guedes left their previous clubs and are doing very well now. Especially Zaza, he didn't have to die at West ham before he knew that league was not for him.
Marcelinho is a great coach. Did well with Villarreal.

Mujtahida:

If FIFA rankings vis - a- vis the draws for the World Cup is your fear regarding the timing of the Argentina match then you need not fear. It is the October rankings - we are 41 - that would be used for the draws. No time is the best than the present time. Nobody can guarantee tomorrow cos the schedule next year will be tight and Argentina would be sought after by more competitive countries like Germany, Spain, France etc.

Musa can only up his game if he's used, the best option is to leave this leceister club permanently to where he will get first team games or on loan to where he will play regularly too.
Mujtahida:

Musa should up his game and that cannot be at Leicester. I thought Hull City were trying to lure him.

Alampasu won Golden Glove at U17WC while Uzoh was on the bench but now he has a bigger prospect for the World Cup than Alampasu.
Irony of life cool

Ambrose Vanzenkin was first choice in 2005 U20 , Akpeyi was second choice. Where is Vanzenkin today. See where Akpeyi is today.

Moses Ocheje was first choice in 2007 U20, Ezenwa was second choice, Femi Thomas was 3rd choice. But where is Ocheje today compared to Ezenwa and Thomas.

Azubuike is not chopping bench. Our injured as at 4 weeks ago. Injured and was pulled out 44mins due to hamstring.

forgiveness:

It seems NFF are monitoring this lad. He has played all the matches for Lugo this season from start to finish and Lugo is currently topping the league.

Instead of people clamouring for Azuibike who is currently chopping bench in his club, I will rather go for Ramon Azeez. grin

Do not use Vanzekin, dude retired from football to chase his dreams of becoming an engineer, he would still be a top GK now if he stayed, dude was class. The others though aren't exactly because of the irony of life, rather the greed of our youth team coaches. And by the way, am I the only one who thinks that this Argentine friendly isn't such a great idea at this time? Right now, I think we should be playing only the friendlies that we're most likely to win, so we can accumulate as much FIFA ranking points as we could before the final world cup draws are made. If that's the case then matches against the likes of Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Belgium, Spain, France, etc. ought to come later in our preparations - after the final draws are made.

Someone please tell me that I am not crazy!

O pari

You're far from being crazy.
Subsequent world ranking has no effect on the draws as October's ranking will be used.

Let see how matured you are. Now, answer, How old was Andrea Pirol when he helped Italy to the finals of UEFA Europe cup?

How old are Buffon, Defoe, Evra, Alves, Ibrahamovic etc?

Are they not too old to sabotage their various countries representation?

You forgot to add to the list playerrs like kocieny, merterseker, nacho monreal, christiano ronado. But the nagging question is on what basis are you drawing this comparison? Are d likes of osaze,ik uche, oba goal on the level with d aforemetioned? ARE THEY STILL PLAYING TOPFLIGHT football in a competve league? I leave to answer these questions. THAT ALL!!!!

so because he could be another Alaba or Alli we should start capping any random individual? What happened to merit? So if because of Lookman, Onyekuru is omitted from our squad list you will be happy? This is after you cried foul from morning till night about Oshimen getting a call up ahead of some other players. The type of sentiments we bring into play when clamouring for some players is......shocking

Firstly, Lookman is a premiership player at Everton considering who Everton have on their squad he really should be a regular. Unfortunately he is now under blood and guts kick and rush manager in the name of Unsworth. Otherwise any technically proficient manager would be playing him.

On this forum we celebrated when Leicester got a new informed technically proficient manager. With regards to KC. But the man who it has benefited immediately is Grey. He was able to bring all his technical ability to bear for competitive over riding advantage. Leicester looked a totally different team.

A bit of concern although it's early days he didn't give KC a start. Within days he had picked out Grey as the man to run things. But didn't consider KC as first choice striker.

In my opinion KC has some convincing to do.

Past and present there is and never was any justification to bring Osimhen into the SE etc up beyond the coaches personal preference.

Quality is Quality and outstanding ability is usually there for all to see.
