Nigeria is home to city with worst PM10 levels

(CNN)The word "Africa" often evokes romantic images of elephants crossing the Kalahari, thundering water at Victoria Falls, or panoramic views from Table Mountain.

But an increasingly common sight for Africans -- especially those in Nigeria -- is that of smog, rubbish and polluted water, according to a new report.

Four of the worst cities in the world for air pollution are in Nigeria, according to data released by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Onitsha -- a city few outside Nigeria will have heard of -- has the undignified honor of being labeled the world's most polluted city for air quality, when measuring small particulate matter concentration (PM10).

You sound like a local, untravelled Yoruba boy who sees Lagos as the beginning and the end. Ikoyi that is more like a district. How many block of flats in festac? Same festac i know or where?you are even talking of 3storey, while Onitsha,Aba and Enugu alone are all commanding 4,5,6 and in some cases 7 storeys. How big is ikoyi or festac? Anyways, i leave you to your ignorance. Who am I to school you?

You wonder why all the big southwest owned estate managment firms are running to the east and south south..

All the jide Taiwos, diya fatimileyin and co and a host of many more firms are in every city in the south east/south.

In the east once you are able to convince a landlord to give you his property to manage, do you know what it means to your account statement?

Travel Mister man. That's all I can say

See who is talking. shocked How big is Enugu? How many districts does it have? The same Enugu that you can go round the whole city in less than 2 hours? How big is Onitsha itself? Is it not the same Onitsha that some of us have visited several times? Onitsha is just densely populated. In size and land mass, it is not bigger than Ikeja. sad

Why do Yorubas like crowded living and slums. There are more children at Agege and Iyana Ipaja than the entire Western Europe.
Yorubas love ghettos, their fat black women sell on shacks kiosks while their men work in the transport sector.

Yoruba women at Iyana Ipaja and Ajegunle are too fat, darker and often speak in hoarse tones. Their children are too dark and love buying food from canteen.
