You are complaining and you can not even provide a similar player to replace Nwakali.

The guy (forgiveness) feels the coach should just invite top performing players randomly without considering the position they play and their versatility. Obviously, one of those that use to criticize coaches' choice of Lawal then.

My analysis of the coach's list goes:
He's comfortable with his attackers, thus no need to change much.
Areas that need fortifications: defensive midfield, left back: probably Nwakali is good in that area.
Goal keeping too requires attention - Uzoho

Because he invited a player in obscure league after he told us he only looking for players in the best league
I didn't think the Norway league is obscure

It don't matter where a player plays as long as he can add value to the team

Not every talented player is lucky to play in the big league

my dear, I'm good o.

I am not saying he should not cry about whoever is missing from the list, but he can wail without dragging and ridiculing Chidiebere Nwakali.

We cannot follow everything going on in every league and Rohr has scouts who have given him what must be favourable feed back concerning these players, so, I don't see what the wailings of an inconsequential being can achieve. Stats never tell the full story.

I did not see my guy, Dessers on the list and I'm not having a panic attack undecided

Strongly feeling its Akpeyi vs Algeria.
The list is like an angle we didnt expect @new call ups. Perhaps fillup testing time. I still expect a name or two to make me extremely comfortabld with the midfield list. Mikel-insurance scheme!!

yeah you're right...

considering the fact that chidi is not doing badly at all...this season he has played 26 matches for his club wit 4 goals and 2 MOTM awards...
remember same troost ekong played some seasons may be a season or so in same Scandinavian league...
not a bad call up....at all.

I am so happy Rohr didn't listen to people like you by inviting kayode who to me is "blunt" striker ie striker wey no sharp, striker wey no sabi score goals just like his brother in crime Ideye.

It baffles me that you don't know that Kayode is not the type of striker you hope to deliver you when you are losing 2 nil with the time running down, and I am tempted to think that your sense judgment of a player's ability is flawed, either that or what you are doing is a premeditated calculated attempt at imposing incompetent players on us.

Infact I want to believe that you are an agent and have collected money from these below par players with a promise of a slot into SE and now that your mission is not achieved, you are beginning to scream blue murder!

I won't be surprised that it was your type that fostered the likes of Rueben Gabriel, Ajagun, Uchebo, Babatunde on keshi at 2014 WC spoiling our eyes with that dirty display at the Mundial while you smiled to the bank. Be careful, because right now I am beginning to suspect you.

I mean look at the players you are suggesting that Rohr invites to the SE, Martins, Taiye Taiwo, Kayode, Onuoha, Raheem, etc all mediocres. Don't you have eyes to spot a good footballer?... Or you are just being mischievously stupid?

Now you are foaming from both sides of your mouth because your paid players are not invited.

With the performances of Ezenwa so far, if given the chance you will rather drop him for Alampasu and Ajiboye...Guy behave o!

Making sound decisions and judgments in football matters does not equate to shouting upandan on nairaland and littering our phone screens with lopsided mentions.

In conclusion, I will call on other sensible members of this thread to stand up against people like @forgiveness who only have their own selfish interest at heart at the expense of the overall success of the Super Eagles.

So far we all have done a good job at keeping people like him at bay but the battle is not won yet until the final 23 list for the world Cup is drafted and mediocres{like his suggestions} are far away from it.

we will get a maximum of 3new faces and in which positions? Any new face in the middle? No. By 'middle' I mean the two CBs and the three midfielders, these are the main guys and they will remain thesame, it doesn't change anything if you are the LB and you keep on performing, you can't come into the middle to create

Icon4s:

Chidi Nwakali was least expected of the players that were close to getting a first callup.

But he has been called up.

The coaching crew need the success of that team more than any one of us here. So let's respect their decision and see how things play out.

Joel Obi may also get his time if his village people can allow him.

Joel I think is Nigeria's best player that has never played for Nigeria in any tournament. His village people are really very strong, even blinding the eyes of Rohr from seeing him in action lately.

Let us make it simple and short.

Guardiola kicked out a sharp shooter out of Manchester City in the person of Kelechi Iheanacho and brought in a blunt striker wey no sharp in the person of Olanrewaju Kayode into the club. What an irony! grin

All the players that have not played any match or played few minutes: Ogu, Nwakaeme, Onyekuru, Ebuehi, Uche Agbo, Awaziem, Aina Etebo (he's now in that category). I am not naive to think that Rohr would feature all of them though but more than three could start.

Chidi Nwakali has paid his way into the national team. Rohr is definitely corrupt.

Now, I know this the national team is controlled by few and their powerful agents.

I will surely do something to sensitive those who are not aware about the way some players get into the National team anyhow.

This is disappointing, forgiveness. Impugning on someone else's character (both Chidi and Rohr) just to make your point. You have accused Rohr (who has gone months without pay) of being corrupt with no tangible proof. You have no record of money changing hands, no phone calls, no record of anyone saying Rohr has received bribe.....

These are grave allegations you are making against someone who could easily be your father and another who could be your younger brother. People doing their best to succeed in their chosen profession and you come out to make this accusation against them based on hearsay or the thrill Nigerians get for highlighting how "corrupt" we are? The fact that you have no qualms making false accusations against these men is a serious cause for concern. For someone who always requests for concrete facts for any counterclaim to your points, I think the onus is on you to provide verifiable facts in this case to be credible. At least you need no fear any backlash since you are anonymous (well not completely anonymous)

The internet is a force for both good and evil. Some use it to promote good, while others use it to "bear false witness against their neighbor". I am sure you have your own chosen profession for which you would not take lightly, any false accusations made against you simply because your accusers are not reasoning in the same wavelength. You may not take what you've done here seriously, but know that it is planting a seed of mistrust in the minds of people about honest hardworking men. You need to make a decision on whether you want to be a force for bringing people up or manufacturing accusations to have the upper hand.

It costs nothing to make accusations...Jesus enemies did the same when they couldn't explain his power. Be very careful so that the measure you use on others will not be used against you!
