tired of not having basic amenities,

tired of meagre salaries you earn and you are owed as an extra,

With an F1 visa, the future is bright.

In addition, make sure you know what you're doing.

Don't just travel abroad with hope of looking for or picking money on the street.

It's not a rollacoaster down there but then you get the reward of hard work.

Wow thanks man,you have been very help bro, How is your preparations going on baba
Pls for someone that have concentration in Mass Communications/Journalism.which school can you recommend....
BlowJobs:

Yes SSCE can get you admitted once you produce scratch card for online check. Undergraduate scholarship is hard to come by. I didn't get one. However, for graduate schools, , it was an awful experience). I wasn't required to pay tuition when i was admitted. Took their admission letter to their consulate and got the visa. it was all like magic. When the visa came out i started telling my people to "help my ministry". My dad was against it. He was like "you wey don finish Uni for here, you wan go start another degree for Caribbean. Not even America, Caribbean!!!". i was unfazed. (you know that mentality when you don give up on Naija). I must leave o. Took my visa together with my admission letter and supporting documents, apply for transit visa, i got it. That was when people started taking me serious. so everyone rallied around and help yours truly with plane fare and some pocket change

I took my visa and my sevis plus some other work docs to Social security office. They gave me a confirmation page then sent the SSN to my address after like a week or 2.
I think for a student on F1, it is the same steps.. you will need a job offer first. Use this link below as a guide or speak with your international student office.

https://iss.washington.edu/employment/ssn/

By latinos, i believe you are refering to spanish speaking brown people. (Mexican, dominican etc). They can't take all thr jobs. Dem dey craze?. Why not make friends with one or two of them that seem sane. They have information the might ne willing to share with you. Also, you need to expand your search. Another factor that might affect your job search might be not having your own means of transport. Most jobs no matter how menial wants you to have a car plus drivers license. They just want to know you'll be able to show up on time.

Story of my mexican friend.

I met this mexican guy last year where i work. We bonded over our love for big butt ladies (guys can become friends about anything grin). I caught him several times eyeing this white lady with big butt (to be honest that girl get big yansh, she get all black girl feature except she's white grin grin).i singaled to him to do his thing and "not dull". I ginger him everyday to talk to this girl grin grin. That's how we became buddies. He became comfortable around me. It was then he opened up to me that he is illegal. That he jumped the boarder to the US. Told me stories of how dangerous the place he's from is and how he made it to the Us. How he works with another persons SSN. How he is better off in America. Etc. I am sharing this stories not to encourage anything illegal but to know thos things exists.

He got into trouble in LA. He doesn't wanna be deported so he ran to the East coast. He told me he is savingup enough money to sort himself out. He works like crazy. The hardest working person i have ever met. I haven't heard from him this year, last thing i know avout him was that he moved to a different state. Also, i didn't get too close, yes we are buddies but i don't know what he does when he's not at work. Make person no put me for trouble. grin

Yes o. You need to use your head. This na yankee. Maybe he sells drugs part time if he's not working. Maybe, he is a rapist. I don't know. I don't plan on finding out.

Some of the people i work with are drug addicts. Cocaine sniffing motherfuckers. If you see them working, you wonder where the energy comes from. Tell some of them to roll their sleeves, you see signs they are using drugs.
I don't get too close to people. I remain friend but maintain my distance. I no want trouble.

I have been using the same approach to keep ladies at bay. Like i say, even if you don't find a woman trouble, woman will find your trouble. And it doesn't always end well. As a black man, you are always guilty before proved innocent. What all these white women need to do is just cry and call 911 (state i live, na so so white people everywhere), you don enter am. Doesn't matter if na she offend you.

Nice one. trust me, i have read virtually every info about how to get SSN, just thought i was missing something. i know the normal route for international students is to get school employment first. Challenge is my school insists you should be in your second semester before you can be considered for school employment. I am an engineering student and the workload is pilling up. Yankee school no be joke. I got a car already because everywhere is far from everywhere. i have temporary permit and my driving test is in 2 weeks. Yankee bills no be here! I work with a Jamaican who fixes fire place. the job isnt regular, he pays cash. Once, twice a week. I have attended lots of interview but when it comes to time to do paperwork SSN becomes an issue. I don't have issue networking,my roommate is Latino.we be padi.it was trough him i knew that latinos like themselves like hausa people.Trust me they are many here. all those people that cross the border illegally, this is like the most attractive city for them. I cant use someone's SSN for job its against everything i stand for. I have lived in UK, to get NI (SSN equivalent) wasn't difficult. though the jobs there are limited and you could work outside school. I know these things take time, I am keen to hit the ground running. I want dey make money like you grin.

Something will show up soon bro. I understand how it feels running out of money and needing work. However, being persistent is key. Don't stop applying. For cash jobs, i find craiglist to be very good search place. Most of the time, the work involves labor or someone moving something or someone needing to mow their lawn or someone needing a temp worker for the day. You do the work, get your pay and wait for the next one. Widen your search, filter out the spam. You'll definitely get something.

I think (not sure) that international student office gives priority to student facing hardship from home. Mayne you can claim that so they give you a letter for your SSN.

I don take two ibuprofen. Man must hustle grin grin. I really really want to quit my 2nd job but i can't. it is the job attached to my permit. If i quit or get fired, i can loose my permit and loose my visa status. (one thing i will take away from the J1 visa)

One important event today: I Have an Interview. So, i carry my life note with me (Life note cos i write important stuffs in there and all the things i need to remember for interviews to refresh my memory)

The funniest and most expensive joke I have
heard from Nigerians doing menial jobs in the US.
and earning between $1,500- $2,000, is claiming
that they are richer than bank managers in
Nigeria. I guess they make their money in America
while spending it in Nigeria. This stupid joke need
to stop. A Nigerian doing menial job in the US. at
best can be compare to someone receiving 80,000
Monthly in Nigeria in purchasing power. A
Nigerian doing odd jobs for 10 yrs will still be
paying rent while a 10 yrs bank manager would
have long built two to three houses with a
lucrative investment. Nigerians in America need to
stop converting currencies because it is clearly
stated that if you earn $12,000 annually in
America you are living in poverty

When you say 2 year visa to work at a factory, what visa are you referring to? I hope not 2 year B1/B2 visa? I will be suprised if a factory paying $15 can sponsor you for an L1 or H1 work visa.

Regarding permanent residence your employer will have to sponsor you for a green card so if you have a work visa e.g. L1 or H1 visa, you should discuss agree if/when they will start the green card processing as it can take up to 2 years.

The other option is via marriage or if you are in a position to invest I think up to $1m (I may be wrong on the amount)

Hello at OP, i want to ask a simple question.. will a person on a two year work visa/permit from Nigeria to usa be able to renew the visa or get a residency permit after the expiration of the contract (factory job).
am about to get into this, and was told it's $15/hrs job with accommodation.
Re: Getting A Green Card By Adjustment Of Status: My Yankee Experience by ttmacoy: 2:19pm On Oct 30, 2017
Wise words....

BlowJobs:

Stay away from baby mamas especially with multiple baby daddies, those guys will always be in her life. Mind you, if you're single, decent guy and hard working, they will do everything in their power to hold you down. Some will go as far as getting loan for you, enticing you with money, giving you rides up and down to where you wanna go (if you don't have a car yet) until they hook you.

Stay away from ill tempered ladies. Small argument, they start threatening to stab you

Stay away from the "get out of my house ladies". Doesn't matter if you rent the house together. Simple misunderstanding, the first thing they say is get out. Yankee can be really really tough without accommodation

Stay away from "I will call the police on you" ladies. Doesn't matter what you guys are arguing about. they treating you with police every time. you as an immigrant want the police off your back for whatever reason. it doesn't always end well.

Stay away from ladies that can't keep a job. those type just want a guy they can leech off. you will work and work till the rest of your life. they are the real definition of "baboon dey work, monkey dey chop". mind you, if this is your wife and it is your arrangement for her not to work, well, that is your decision.

Stay away from Women that will marry you just to keep you hostage. These category only want a man in their house so they can boast to friends they got a man. When it comes to filing your papers, their answer is ALWAYS NO, then they result to claiming you just want to use them for papers.

Stay away from lairs, the ones that will injure herself and tell people you did it (especially white women). As a black man, you are always guilty before proven innocent. It is best you stay away from trouble as much as you can.

Stay away from over jealous Women. This type of women are controlling. If you by mistake say hello to another girl, a simple "hello", they accuse you of wanting to sleep with her. this particular category will blackmail you with tears. a lot of them are really abusive.

Generally, you need to find what works for you. doesn't matter the race. Find a partner you know through thick and thin, come rain or shine, He/She has your back. And you also need to play your part. Be a good ambassador, no need to lie to anyone for green card. Be truthful from the onset. Telling a lie means you will need to tell more to cover your track. You also need to stay in your boundaries, you are seeing one girl, sleeping with several others. that will get you in trouble. Be smart, be wise, be humble, be diligent, be respectful. You need to understand your partner will be from a different upbringing and most likely will have a different perspective. so, you both will understand things differently and do things differently.

Oh about the baby mama, Sometimes, a lot of them are victims of bad relationship. you need to also use your discretion. Some of them are really awesome ladies.

And last but not the least, stay the fakk away from impregnating anyone if you know you are not gonna be committed. Better still, say the fakk away from impregnating anyone at all.

Guy M bought a new truck. Says it cost him Like 53,000$. He told me he did that to avoid the taxes. The truck is listed as new work equipment so he can write it off as taxes. (still don't understand the tax code yet). I think it is part of the reason he pays cash. to avoid taxes.

Today's work was somewhere in boston. The traffic was horrible (back and forth). we spent total of around 3 hours in traffic. The tanks were 4 in the same building. The jobs is the same. We check for oil, pump out the remaining oil into our tank, Guy R cuts the tank open (Guy M came with us today. I don't like when he comes around cos he talks a lot), Guy R and/or myself cleans out the Sludge, Guy R cuts it into small pieces. I bring it to the truck, We drive to the junk yard. drive back to Guy M's place. get paid and leave for the next day. Simple
