Possible reasons:

1. You touched a sensitive part of your profile such as date of birth, class of degree and year of graduation.

2. DPR might have decided to reduce the number of candidates from your state and unfortunately you happenned to be among those affected.
3. There is something wrong with the portal.
4. The deadline given still stands. It simply means that they will retrieve the information of every candidate after 27th and though the edit handle is still functional, any information you put there after 27th will not be taken and may amount to laziness and inability to meet deadline on the part of the candidate.
5. Time will reveal all hidden truth.

There are people whose profiles were on editable/upload mode. They didn't do anything to their profiles. They didn't touch their profiles yet they have their portal closed. There are a lot of things to this next stage of a thing than meets the eye.

Make una no allow dpr rest o. More people should call their helpline to make enquiry. The more calls they receive, the more feedback they will give to the HR or management. That should give them an idea that the recruitment process is dragging for too long. Budget cannot be the reason for the delay, then what is?

Btw...DPR is not handling their PORTAL. If you haven't noticed.. Snapnet is. That is the IT firm (consultant) providing IT solutions for them through this process. You would know this if you paid attention to the portal.

This is plausible atleast to IT guys. I have held this notion since the DPR "open and close saga like Shina Peter's song" started. Moreover, Google still flagged DPR site has been hacked. The only thing that can make Google remove this is when Snapet work on the Google search console to rectify the security issue.

As much as I dislike speculations, atleast it can be of help in developing problem solving skill. So guys are already preparing for interview via speculations.

Is like you dont know how federal charachter works, if for instance 100 people got 98% on the test each, they will still consider gender, if gender is still not sufficient, they will still consider those from less developed local government areas, and it continues like that. Somebody from a village has better chance than someone from the city if both of them perform well
