alobispot: Where is Nigeria's share from global tourism and foreign investors lost to Boko Haram violence, eight years going? If not Boko Haram which facilitated Buhari's emergence as president of Nigeria, Nigeria might have gone farther business wise. Boko Haram fights for a country to be ruled through Islamic Sharia criminal codes. In 2001; Buhari told Muslim Faithfuls that he must not stop until Islamic Sharia Criminal codes are used all over Nigeria. Who is fooling who? 2 Likes |

When we have PDP doing all sorth of nonsense in govt and we decided to vote for change, not knowing that we were voting for a wicked tyrant zombie of a slowpoke from the Fulani northern Nigeria to come and do the worst ever and cause division and hatred among ourselves. And when the slowpoke live power, another stupid polithiefians we take over again. Tell me how then can we now belike Rome even in a million years. |

alobispot: Nigerians do well in America who start their business because other Nigerians will support shops that import goods from home that cant be obtained in America. Nigerians that obtain white collar jobs do well if they dont acquire credit card, mortgage and car loan debts. Menial labor in America is slavery you will be paying for your own food, clothing and shelter but never own land and property. This is how come African Americans are still in poverty after generations. It seems Nigerians are joining us in this ignorant self enslavement. Nigeria is a very special African nation with thousands of years of human civilization and history. Your artwork is the centerpiece of the British museum like Eqypt and China. How come you abandon your Nigeria knowing you got work to do and a great nation is in your palm? The recession will end when ordinary Nigerians want it to end. When you have the guts to transform those large political parties into crowd funding for a capital improvement program for small businesses. Many of you are fighting for government jobs and contracts dividing what is already a small pie, mind you alot of corrupt hands in it before the poor even see it. But this is no different than any other nation of human beings. Small businesses generate the most jobs not government and special contracts. Nigerians are masters of creating profitable small businesses and shops. Fund yourselves and stop waiting on an overburdened Nigerian government. Self love is the first and last love. FarahAideed: This is the bane of intellectual development of Nigerian youths. The World Bank gathered and analyzed comprehensive quantitative data to compare business regulation environments across 190 economies and selected cities at the subnational and regional level in order to provide objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement. Yet, you think you know better than them without any qualitative research or quantitative analysis from you, but mere emotions and sentiments. Do you think serious businessmen and institutional investors relay on childish emotions and namby-pamby sentiments? FYI, they don't. They relay on more scientific researches like this World Bank Doing Business Report. If it was so easy to do business under GEJ why weren't we where we are today in the ranking during his tenure? Meanwhile, who appointed those men and women presently driving the force of reforms going on in the business environment in Nigeria? Goodluck Jonathan abi? SMH. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

9jvirgin: Unfortunately, I'm not convinced you're a staunch Buhari supporter. Real PMB supporters are more reasonable even when they disagree with his policies or decisions. Moreover, this report isn't even from PMB or his government, this is World Bank publishing a report on 190 countries of the world. How is it now "Senseless, Meaningless and Irrational"? Do you even understand the essence of the Doing Business Report by World Bank? If you don't, all you've got to do is ask someone to explain it to you, not condemning what you have little understanding of. Do you it is reports like this that motivates foreign businesses and institutional investors to invest their dollars in the country? Do you know that UK is presently celebrating this report because despite Brexit palaver they are still ranked among the first 10? Do you know that Nigeria being ranked among the Top 10 Reformers in the world is something that will eventually result into increased FDIs with multiplier effects of increased employments? Finally, not every positive policy, not every positive accomplishment, not every positive reports will immediately result into your so-called "good life for Nigerians". Reforms don't work that way. Economics don't work that way. Ever heard of gestation period? 4 Likes |

Spylord48: Have you read the full World Bank Doing Business Report for 2018? I have. You should too. I know if you do you won't be here saying statistics of Abuja and Lagos was used to extract a conclusion on the country. I have read it and I know all the 36 States including FCT was analyzed in that report. Go check the report. It is over 200 pages. But there's a special report on Nigeria, it is 122 pages. Go and read. You will be enlightened. If you're too lazy to read the whole report go to their website, use a good browser and you can select each state to check their reports. Nigerian youths are so lazy and used to sitting on their bums and reeling out lame assumptions. Research. Read. Be. Enlightened. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

These are the indicators investors look at to know where to take their investments to. Like it or not we need foreign investment to jack up our economy. Western foreign investments o! Not the indian investors that come with no kobo but leave with billions. 9jvirgin: |
