The Rivers state based church, Omega Power Ministries OPM recently made news after their senior pastor, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, rejected a Rolls Royce birthday present and asked that he should be given the money so he can use it to send more orphaned children to school and build homes for widows. The church last weekend had a graduation ceremony for members and non-members of their church that they had free tailoring training for. According to a post shared on their Facebook page, the offerings and tithes paid to the church were used to buy sewing machines for the graduands.

He's doing great but that's not the primary reason for the establishment of the church. God is more interested on how many sinners that repented in this church or charity organization. If a sinner should come here, get trained without salvation, the pastor will be likened as one who married the future and lost focus. All the same, he's doing a good work.

You are right, he should have accepted the rolls Royce and buy a private jet, that way it would be easier to win souls for Christ.

kudos to the GO. Tithes and offerings are meant to help members of the church, help in evangelism, cater for the pastors,ministers, or church workers and help in moving the church forward. Any other reason from this is devilish and please desist from paying your tithes in such churches

Do you know how many are sinners because they can't afford to pay for marriage or do not know how many are sinners because even when they have handwork, they cannot afford to get a shop or buy necessary things for themselves? Do you know how many are sinners because they are idle?

Good works must be appreciated and God appreciates it more when it is done out of selfless intentions. The disciple James said in James 1:27 "Pure, unstained religion, according to God our Father, is to take care of orphans and widows when they suffer and to remain uncorrupted by this world."

Help people, show love and watch how people change without you preaching to them.

You can also win souls by rendering helping hands to the poor. Poverty leads to sins most times.
