I am sorry. my screen name has nothing to do with my fiance. It is disrespectful sexualizing another person in such manner. Whatever two adults do in their homes is their personal business. And anything you think you know may or maynot be true

FYI, people all around the world are not that different from each other if you take away the skin color and standard of living.

Mouth Action, please ignore that guy, I have reported him, and his post have been removed, make him no pour sine sine for our own garri, with this sweet story wey you dey gist us jawe.

Anybody that derail this thread, or abuse the OP in a way that would make him stop educating us, I won't hesitate to call just.wise on the person to be ban from posting on this section for life.

I mean it, can't we just read, ask meaningful question and allow people to learn from what the OP is giving out?

*Adjustment of Status* Update.

The forms lady K ordered (FREE OF CHARGE) from United States Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) website came in Few minutes ago

Forms I-130/I-130A (and instruction forms)
Form I-765
Form I-864P
Form I-485
Form I-693
Form I-864

These forms looks like lots of paper works. So much forms. I hate paperworks, they make me dizzy and confuse. But i really can't complain right now.
Once we start filling out the information, this thread will go full scale into the adjustment of status Via marriage to a USC proper. Till then, just enjoy my "rants" and pictures.

2.your location is a white populated area, how do you deal with Racist & intimidation to minorities?

3. have you witness any Gang related viloance, or Gun violence ?

(please ignore my method of asking like an exam question) cheesy grin cheesy

I haven't gone though the naturalization process. i Think they give you questions to study for the citizenship test. it includes US history, cultures, politics and general information.

About Racism: Honestly, i haven't dealt with racism here. No one has ever said any racist remarks to my face. People show bias tho. i see how some people relate to white foreigner from another country and me. they show bias like they automatically just feel comfortable around that person. Maybe skin color has something to do with it, i really don't know. I am an open minded person. I believe people tend to choose things/other people they easily relate to. Also, living here as a minority (especially a black man) has its PROS too. White ladies literally throw themselves at me. Its like a fantasy thing. Everyone wants to try new things. its like eating fried rice every day and someone offered you jollof rice+ chicken one afternoon. I have turned down several sexual advances (let's hang out blah blah). Some are bold as to ask you if you really have a BBC. as a black man especially someone on a visa, you need to be careful. Women can make sexual advances towards you and you say no and turn them down. If you flip the script, you can be sued for sexual Harassment.

Also, don't let no one intimidate you. A lot of people are really ignorant. they are surrounded by so much information and don't know anything Don't assume that because someone was born and lives here means they are smart. A lot are really dumb, don't let the accent fool you. I get asked ignorant question every time. i am tired of answering them.

No gangs here, no gang related violent. The major things here is people on drugs. Someone Overdosed across the street from me few weeks back. These people can't stay off drugs. It is a big problem. The gang related violent is in Massachusetts. The thing common here is "white trash". I don't know how to explain it. Like low life scums sort of people

Welcome to The United states of America. do you have your drivers license with you?

Kindly note that working on a B1/B2 is illegal and i am not in "support" of it. However, from my personal experience working with someone that pays cash, I'll recommend you search Craigslist job section and gig section (thorough searching). What you are looking for is cash jobs listing. people paying cash list their job often times as requiring labor.

Also, I'll advise you to talk to people around you. don't limit your search to online alone.

i wish you all the best in your endeavors
Once again, welcome to America.

At a particular point during his stay, he will be looking into driving and/or buying a car. Also, it is easier to get a US license if you have a valid license from your home country or country of residence.

God bless you sir. You have been helpful beyond measure. I have a B.A in English. I really want to leave this hell-hole, I recently applied for a Masters degree in English Literature in my alma matter. What are my chances of securing a gainful employment once I have the Masters degree? What category of visa would you advise I apply for?

Those Nigerian degrees don't mean jackshit, whether BSC, MSC or PHD if you want to use to work in the US. Except you;re into the IT field for example where you may need to take a professional course alongside.

Man must hustle.

Honestly, if you are in the Arts field, getting a job in western countries will be hard. Except you want to get a phd and go onto Academics full time.

A lot of Americans are having troubles getting jobs cos they studied courses in the Arts field. Most people with srts degrees of some sort end up waiting tables. If you're coning to America be ready and willing to switch field. Be open minded to learning new things. I know a Nigerian lawyer that got her nursing degree late last year. Shes now enjoying the hard work and she finished it in 2 years (she has family here so she focused on school full time)

i have been thinking about your questions for a while now. Your questions seems vague to me. I don't know which direction to tackle it from. Things involved in Traveling out? Traveling out where?.

Okay, let me just go through the basics with you.

Traveling internationally involves you having a passport or travel document and some form of entry permit into the country you are going. Getting a Job depends on your status in the country you travel to. Most entry permit don't give you the privilege of seeking employment. Most times, you need a form of work document from the authorized govt organization in the new country you move to.

Getting a job is almost the same everywhere, you check if you qualify, then apply.

Kind of Visa? i really don't know your situation so i can't tell you the specific type of visa to apply for. However, i advise anyone moving out of their home country to another country to travel as a student if they can IF they can't secure a work permit to their new country. Because, being a student gives you enough time to decide what exactly you wanna do. In most cases, students status allows you to carry out basic activities (open bank account, rent an apartment, apply for drivers license and most times seek employment). So, if you plan moving to a new country on a long term, look into either Work permit or Student permit.

Things to do to increase your chances?.. there are several factors involved. the first thing is to male sure you check the visa requirement and see if you qualify.

Yes he can. i will recommend your brother look into the J1 visa. there are several types. Internship and Summer work and travel is two of there.

Also being a masters student in Romania, I am not sure how long he has been in Romania but look at my Tips about applying for Visitors visa in the beginning of this thread. I strongly believe he stand a better chance right now as a student and not wait till he finish school, except there is a post graduate job waiting for him after the completion of his program

Thanks for the good job you are doing on this thread @blowjobs.

My questions is, what are the best skills one needs to acquire in Nigeria that could help them get a job Easier?
Re: Getting A Green Card By Adjustment Of Status: My Yankee Experience by mcvities(m): 6:05am On Nov 02, 2017
For a professional (A Licensed Pharmacist in Nigeria) who is already working. Can there be any form of vacation Job or Paid internship one can just come over to do, make some money and come back to continue his job. If there is, how can one access them and what are the possibilities of getting a Visa? Not planning to relocate there permanently, just to go, work, make some money and come back to Nigeria.

@BJ. Thanks for your good work on this forum.
Please what I want to ask is a bit deviation from your topic. Plz permit me and I need your expect advice. I have applied with my family to leave this hell hole country twice but were denied visa. My question is : if I want to apply the third time, can we still use the destination place because we have been using Maryland for the previous application s. I remembered the vo was asking specifically me why maryland in our last appearance.? Should we change this place or still the same place.?
Thanks
