Which Is more

1. Fuel economical
2. Durable for roads that is doesn't spoil easily.
3. No gear issues.

fuel economy, slightly better on the Crv

Sturdy on Bad roads undecided.

Gear issues, Both are not known to have gear issues.

I don come again... the throttle of the car dey dull, its a v6 2003 camry, but when i step on the throttle to give the car power, it dulls.. Poor response when throttle is depressed.
Just the p0031 code is thrown up when scanned.

Evening gazzuz .

My Lexus RX 300 makes this knocking sound when i start the engine in the morning but later adjust and also the gear disengage while on motion .

Mechanic checked and he said the engine doesnt supply oil to the engine on time .
He said the sound doesn't affect anything but am not just happy hearing that sound every morning when I start the car

Sir Gazzuzz,

Car is a toyota camry 2000
I changed my engine oil to manufacturer's specification(5W30) but unfortunately there is a leak from the engine oil drain plug and when i checked underneath the car, it was soiled with engine oil . I used the 20W50 for about 2 years and I always changed the oil every 3 months (less than 2000 Miles) religiously and I never had issues as regards leakage from the engine oil drain plug but underneath the engine was still soiled with engine oil.

Question now is; Do i revert to the 20W50 oil and then how to i stop the engine from being soiled with oil.

A friend of mine visited, as he was about to go. He started his lexus L300 and tries to engage the gear the car went off. He tried it several times each time he engages the gear the car still goes off.

What could be the cause?

if your mechanic cannot solve a drain plug leak, replace mechanic.

Hello Hon. Gazzuz. Please why is the AC of all 05 ford escapes problematic? I've hardly seen anyone driving with theirs working. An AC man once told me that it's because the compressor is situated at the lowest point on the engine but this doesn't make sense to me because if it were so, it would have been corrected in other cars but is so in the escape 2nd gen and 07 edge.

Gazzuz, I have this benz 2007 C230 compressor engine. It drives very well I guess but when the car is idle, and I try to fire the throttle, the tachometer doesn't go beyond 400rpm, the throttle will just seize. But when I'm driving, I don't feel any issue. What could be the issue please? The only error message on my car is SRS.

protective system designed to limit RPM so you dont rev accross 4rpm. Put car in drive push the pedal to the floor, you will hit 6000rmp very easily.

Sumary nothing is wrong with powertrain.

As for SRS (supplimentary restraint system), you need to scan airbag system.

I am not very familiar with the inner workings of the 05 escape, but one thing I am sure of is our terrain in nigeria does not support placing sensitive parts at the base of a car.

Depends on the compressor you want to install... Ie sanden ..or Mercedes Benz OEM compressor

Most Benz lovers prefer Sanden 507/508 compressor. It is said to be quite rugged. Check out the Benz thread. Or look for mosbus
