I have honestly thought about this, even went to great lemghts to research thoroughly as to what can be done with the money. If you guys would take the suggestion of a drab old man, I'd suggest a world-class hospital/health centre.
Equipment can be imported from India, US and co that can be used to treat diseases that people go abroad for. Reputable professionals from these countries can be offered reasonable deals too.
Now think of it on the side of the patient. Would you pay 5 million for a kidney transplant in India, when you can pay a million here in Nigeria for the same service? Just my 2 cents.
P.S. Please when you guys are decided on what course to take, please let us be informed timely. I'll love to be a part of this.

Brother, you dont want to join anymore group and you still want us to inform you when its ready to roll, how?

Why not real estate to start with. Then the profit can be invested in other businesses such as agriculture or manufacturing.

This is how I think it can work:

N1 billion can construct:

100 units of 3-Bedroom bungalows at 10 million each (terrace or semi-detached); or
40 units of 3-Bedroom Semi-Detached Duplexes @ 25 million naira each

The above prices already includes the land prices and considers fairly good location in a city like Lagos and decent finishes for the buildings.

These could be easily sold to working class people who would make installment payment over 5 - 10 years, with interests. The building would not belong to the occupant until the payment and interests are paid in full. If the purchaser defaults, they would loose most of the money already paid. Hence, minimal risks to the investors.

In addition to savings or discounts from bulk purchase of materials, profit would easily be made from the interests that would have been paid by purchasers if they were to be paying to the bank. With current bank interest rates above 20% per annum, that on its own is good cash flow for the investors. Also, the value of the properties un-sold would appreciate with time.

Skye Shelter Fund (By Skye Bank) raised only about N2 billion (I stand to be corrected) in their IPO to invest on properties to be sold and rented, and they have consistently been paying dividends of between 5 and 10 % annually since a year after. So, I don't see why a co-operative focused on real estate investment, and less overhead cannot achieve the same feat.

We believe in the power of entrepreneurship to tackle global challenges, transform communities, create jobs, spur economic growth and close the opportunity gap that confronts far too many people in Nigeria and Africa in general.

In order to accelerate thriving local and global communities, we support the development of sustainable, market-driven models to build skills, networks and pathways to unlock human potentials.
We want to see more entrepreneurs deployed across all sectors – starting businesses, running sustainable social enterprises, and bringing fresh ideas to old challenges.
The bottom line is that our success in all what we do is anchored in engaging, educating and empowering live for a greater future.

More than 10,000 Nigerians in self-determination to do the unusual are signing up in our Cooperative Society to setup plantain & cocoa farm investment projects worth N1billion in 30 days.
The question they all asked was, is it possible to get N1billion from the local citizens?

With a token of N10,000 from 100,000 locals, the total figure will amount to N1,000,000,000

How will you do that and is it achievable?
Yes, it's the most easiest thing to do as a registered cooperative society whose mission is to engage, educate and empower people towards securing a sustainable future.

What can N1billion do?
It can acquire hectares of arable farmland for Plantain cultivation.
It can acquire machineries and factory equipment for processing of orange juice Concentrate and cocoa powder processing.
We can engage in yam exportation and cassava processing and many money workable business.

Is this a ponzi scheme or MLM business?
No, it's not a Ponzi scheme. It's being regulated by the Ministry of Commerce and industries. We do not promise investors 100% unbelievable ROI.

What do I stand to benefit when I invest my funds?
Profits will be openly declared and shared accordingly to all members depending on the return-cycle of the agro business we ventured into. We have a return window of 3, 6 and 12 months, depending on the particular farm category we are engaging in at the time.

How do I register as a member of the Cooperative Society?

Let me tell you that we can do mightier and colossal projects if we decide to engage ourselves to doing it.

Our present government are only deceiving themselves in the name of leadership.
They can never be mentors and leaders but self-centered men.
A mentor is one who guides you through with his experiences and expertise. They all claim to be mentors because that's what we they are.
How many real mentors do we have in Nigeria, not the ones in the national assembly or governor's lodge?
These guys don't have real experiences and can never offer you any meaningful business exposition.
Now check out what someone achieved in 4 years of which I was a beneficiary of one of his project - Free Education.

REVISITING SOME OF THE LATEEF JAKANDE'S GOVERNMENT ACHIEVEMENTS FROM OCTOBER 1979 TO DECEMBER 1983 (FOUR YEARS AND 3 MONTHS) IN LAGOS STATE

* His government built the current Lagos State Secretariat which houses all the state ministries as well as the popular round house hitherto occupied by all subsequent governors of the state.

* His government built the Lagos State House of Assembly complex.

* His government built the Lagos State Television

* His government built the Lagos Radio

* His government built Lagos State University

* His government established General Hospital in zones all over the state with assurance of free health care.

* His government established the Water Management Board and Waste Disposal Board on the 18th of August, 1980.

* His government constructed the Adiyan Water Works to increase water supply in the state to 18.16 million litres per day.

* His government modernized and expanded the Iju Water Works which was first commissioned in 1915. This increased daily capacity from 159 million to 204 million litres per day.

* His government purchased and commissioned the giant car crusher equipment. The equipment was designed specifically to crush derelict vehicles in Lagos State. It had the capacity to crush 45 vehicles per day.

* His government constructed, rehabilitated and resurfaced Epe/Ijebu-Ode Road, Oba Akran Avenue, Toyin Street, Town Planning Way, Alimosho-Idimu-Egbe Road, Idimu-Iba-LASU Road, the new secretariat road and several others.

* His government constructed Victoria Island/Epe Road and thereby creating an ‘oil rig’ for Lagos State.

* His government established Asphalt Plant for the Department of Public Works.

* His government established Electricity Board for Rural Electrification with provision of street lights.

* His government modernized, expanded and commissioned Onikan Stadium in 1982.

* His government established a singular school system and ensured genuine free education in Lagos State and the beneficiaries of this policy are in different positions of eminence in the country and around the world.

* His government raised the primary schools in Lagos State to 812 with 533,001 pupils (against 605 primary schools with 434,545 pupils he met in 1979) and secondary schools to 223 with 167,629 students (against 105 schools with 107,835 students in 1979).

* His government constructed 11, 729 classrooms with the maximum of 40 children per class between March and August 1980, by 1983, he had constructed over 22,000 classrooms.

* His government established small scale Industries Credit Scheme which preceded the EKO bank.

*His government established LASACO Insurance.

*His government expanded existing market and built new ones.

*His government established Traditional Medicine Board.

WHO SAYS 4 YEARS IN OFFICE IS NOT ENOUGH FOR MEANINGFUL ACHIEVEMENTS?

IT'S A FACT THAT 90% OF GOVERNORS IN NIGERIA SINCE 1999 WITH REVENUES AT THEIR DISPOSAL CANNOT BOAST OF A QUARTER OF THESE ACHIEVEMENTS EVEN WITHIN THEIR EIGHT YEARS IN OFFICE.

BUSINESS PLAN ON PROPOSED FROZEN, DRESSED AND PACKAGED CHICKEN PROCESSING PLANT.

LOCSTION: LAGOS, PORT HARCOURT, OGUN, DELTA, OWERRI

Project to be owned and operated by Billion Naira Project Cooperative Society.

INTRODUCTION

The Business plan is for an efficiently run and quality packaged frozen chicken factory in Nigeria.
The Proposed Facility will produce average of 10,000 Packed Chicken daily using Broiler Chickens.
The Product would be sold through the open market and Special markets like Supermarkets and department stores.

The degree of need for meat, health considerations and rising standard of living contributes in no small measure to the increasing demand for fresh wholesome poultry products in Nigeria.
With an estimated population of over 160 million people, local market demand for poultry products has grown with over 70 million kg per Month and rising with growing population.

Given a high domestic demand for processed poultry meat by hotels, restaurants, super markets, various institutions with food catering services, and urban households, a 5% rate of growth is used which is equivalent to the growth of population has been envisaged in 2018.

Now this plan will be achievable through our collective effects. We need you in this concept which is currently trending online.
