Tyronne Ebuehi: I Want To Make Nigeria World Cup Roster Even If I Sit On Bench Tyronne Ebuehi has revealed that he wants to earn a spot on Nigeria's 23-man World cup roster, though the ADO Den Haag defender has admitted that his chances of making the starting eleven are slim. Born in the Netherlands to a Nigerian father and Dutch mom, the right-back will become cap-tied to Nigeria if he clocks up some minutes in a World Cup qualifier against Algeria next Friday. ''And now I have been called for two games in Nigeria's national team this month. On November 10th for the World Cup qualifiers against Algeria. And on November 14 for a friendly game against Argentina,'' Ebuehi said to haagmedia.nl. ''I would love to come to Russia. Even if I did not play during the World Cup and only experienced the tournament from the bench or the stands, it's already beautiful.'' Whilst Ebeuehi has been included in Nigeria's squad list for competitive matches against South Africa and Cameroon, he earned his solitary cap for the national team in a non-competitive game against Togo five months ago. The 21-year-old is in talks with ADO Den Haag over the extension of his contract, which runs out at the end of the 2017-18 season. Igho Kingsley source: ANS 2 Likes 1 Share

probably the Reason for the random news all over the English press reporting....Tammy ditch Nigeria for England... Southgate To Tammy Abraham – Forget Nigeria, Assures Him Of England Chance Coach of the senior national team of England Gareth Southgate has successfully convinced Tammy Abraham to banish the idea of representing Nigeria.. The online edition of British media outfit Times monitored by Owngoalnigeria.com Michael James has it that the coach had a meeting with 20 year old shortly after watching him in action for Swansea City in their 1-2 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates. According to Times, Southgate assured the 20 year old that he could gatecrash his World Cup squad for England, even if he doesn’t make the next squad of England which will be released on Thursday. Although there are other strikers ahead of Abraham in the pecking order of forwards available to coach Southgate, he however assured Abraham that one or two striking slots are up for grabs. Daniel Sturridge and Danny Welbeck’s poor injury record as well as Jermain Defoe who is close to 36 years old could play in his favour when Southgate releases his squad for the World Cup. The assurances made the forward who 13 caps for England at Under-21 level and four Premier League goals from nine starts to shelve plans of switching allegiance to Nigeria despite holding talks with the President of the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) Amaju Pinnick. They even drew with players from the "football holy book" league. And at that point they rested some of their key players having already qualified with a game to spare. And England couldn't still beat Costa Rica. Sir Like in, I understand your adulation of the English football, but not everyone can play there... tbaba1234: |

Ok please show us the first eleven. Haba these guys are just bench warmers, the main guys are the ones that came from top teams, they played. Mainz was in the Europa league in 2013/2014, Navas was one of the best GK's in the league that year. Olympiakos made it out of their group that year. tbaba1234: |

Was that not the full team from 2014? Which one be first 11 na? Can you even pick a first 11 from that list made up of players that play for top sides? Mickael2: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 7:48pm On Nov 01, 2017 |
Mickael2: Mainz DID NOT even play Europa league in 2013-2014. Have you even seen the type of teams in the Europa league? This is the team that beat Italy Keylor Navas (Levante) Giancarlo Gonzalez (Columbus Crew) Michael Umana (Saprissa) Celso Borges (AIK) Oscar Duarte (Bruges) Christian Bolanos (Copenhagen) Bryan Ruiz (PSV Eindhoven) Joel Campbell (Olympiakos) Yeltsin Tejeda (Saprissa) Junior Diaz (Mainz 05) Christian Gamboa (Rosenborg) Subs: Randall Brenes (Cartagines), Marco Urena (FC Kuban Krasnodar), Jose Miguel Cubero (Herediano). This team made up of players from Cartagines, Saprissa, AIK etc beat the great Italy.. Imagine Nigeria inviting a player fro Saprissa.. 5 Likes |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by forgiveness: 8:55pm On Nov 01, 2017 |
Mujtahida: First of all, I stated earlier that two things are involved in scouting players which I listed as 1. From the top ten best clubs in the world. I latter corrected it to Europe because I am well informed about the best clubs in the world. It was an error on my part. 2. Even if you are not in the top ten leagues in the world, you must at least play for one of the best clubs in other leagues. As you can see, my stance remains though with more emphases. If you don't fall into these two categories then I am sorry. Going by these, I think Chidiebere Nwakali falls very short of these requirements. Now, looking at the headline of your source, it didn't reflect the best leagues in the world neither is it in consonant with the top ten best clubs in Europe. It is abstractly off the tangent which points to ten most entertaining clubs in the world. In a nutshell, Belgium is currently in the top ten best clubs in the world. |

forgiveness:I am not talking of Chidiebere because it is obvious that Norway is not top league. I wrote that post to challenge your assertion that Ajagun passed your test meanwhile he didn't pass any. Belgium is not in the top ten best league in the world(test 1) and Ajagun's club KV Kortrijik is number 14 out of 16 teams in the Belgian Jupiler(failed test two) So why do you keep calling for Ajagun and Azeez when you oppose chidiebere with so much vehemence? I have told you that Belgium is not in the top ten best leagues in the world. Check that link to bleacherreport.com 5 Likes 1 Share |

tbaba1234: Who told you that? Abdul Ajagun deserves to called before now, when he played in one of the best clubs in Greece but he was overlooked. Now, that he is in Belgium, some mischievous people went ahead to call chidiebere Nwakali who is in an obscure league with a relegation threatened club. Asibokwa! |

Joebie:There is no sure bet for Qatar. Not even Kelechi. Or who would have thought in 2014 that a fit Omeruo would be a major doubt for Russia 2018? Yahaya should get out of that Porto B first of all. He's stayed too long there. His quality should have since shone through. 1 Like |

Scotland is ranked 26th. Does that mean playing in a relegation threaten team in Belgium Is better than playing for the Scottish champions? Does that also mean the player playing for the Scottish champions shouldn't be invited? forgiveness: |

forgiveness:That link was dropped here by komekn. And entertainment is just one out of several factors used. If CAF compiles a list of best countries in the world Nigeria will be in the first five but if a wider scope is considered we will not be top five. Indeed we are 41 in the world. So Belgium can be top ten within UEFA but it's not top ten in the world best leagues. Modified: I see that you have corrected top best in the world to top ten in Europe. In that case Ajagun passes limb two. But I will repeat what I have said before. Your test is good. And 90 percent pass your test. Always remember that it's 23 players that makes the team. 1 Like |

edi287: Victor Moses will win it! He lifted the EPL trophy last season and this is only based on last season. If this season was included Messi would have won Ronaldo looking at form this season. What did Salah do last season? Even mane? Going to world cup qualification based on last year, Moses performed better assisting and scoring goals. My 2cent 1 Like |
