isan: Let Odey prove himself in Switzerland first... Etebo and Muazzam have proved themselves outside. What of all the others that have left the league? There are a few quality players but their performance in the WAFU cup is not a good advert for the league. 1 Like |

Oga who are we losing these guys to? The only thing that connects them to Nigeria is that either one or both parents are Nigerians. These guys don't feel green at all. So u should rephrase it to say "if England decides to lose them, then it'll be Naija's gain that's if they even want to play for us. God forbid, but even in death Alli would never have wanted to play for Naija. He doesn't feel or mix wth anything Nigerian. So what's ur fuss about losing him. No blame NFF abeg. Even the lookman you're taking about, rumor has it that he was approached, but turned us down. What u want NFF to do again? Cede an oil block to him or what? The thing be irritating me when I see names from every corner. These players are firstly loyal to the country of birth and upbringing. Any other affiliations becomes secondary. So we are not losing anyone cos they were never ours. I just want you to understand that first. If you were calling Dessers, Deji, even the boy in Wycombe wanderers, I have no qualms cos they have decided to choose their secondary options which is Nigeria. But all these Solanke, Onomah, Lookman, Udokhai, have made it known that their country of birth which is rightly their first choice coupled with residency length is their first choice and as such should not be mentioned in any Naija squad. NFF have tried biko. forgiveness: 14 Likes |

Mujtahida: It's about a business man, who uses insider information to make trades, making profits in the back of others. He has in his team a lawyer, a crazy PA, a psychologist and a league of other traders. The point here is, the psychologist was the performance coach, her job was to keep them in the right mental shape so they're sure about trades they're making. But we over here think, we have it all OK, so we don't need a professionals' help. That's where we got it wrong. Akpeyi is an OK keeper, he's pretty solid for his club. But it's all different when he's in the National Team. With therapy I think he can overcome his fears. 1 Like 1 Share |

The last days have been interesting for me. First seeing the Leicester City manager set up the team in a brilliant offensive manner. Giving Mahrez liberty behind the defender, Gray his chance and Iborra who gave Iheanacho the pass that led to the assist in the league Cup. Another sweet one was Puel replacing Vardy with Iheanacho. Even though it was late, it showed Puel can see what Iheanacho can bring to the team leading the attack with creative play supplying him passes. It will be interesting seeing how it progresses. Chidiebere Nwakali getting invited was the highest point and I hope he makes Rohr happy. He is a quality talent who I believe can add to the team. 5 Likes |

isan: Are you freaking kidding me? You See Dessers is way outta Ajayi's league. Don't take for granted the fact that he has presented himself on a platter. You saying the Egyptian league is stronger than the Dutch Eredisive says a lot about your knowledge of football. You See Dessers?? The person He reminds me of is a young Suarez. he's got the strength and he's a 1st class goal poacher. Yeah you heard me right. I even see some Diego Costa in him too. What exactly is Ajayi doing for Al haly that Dessers hasn't done for Utrecht? He contributed 42 goals last season to see his team gain promotion to the 1st tier, now he's stepped up to a higher league with a better team and still hasn't stopped scoring. Dessers is my guy, you shouldn't compare him with anyone with inferior ratings. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I've seen Kieran Trippier play while still at burnley. I never knew he'd come this good. No wonder Poch never really had problems letting Walker leave. |

tbaba1234: Standby Players On Alert As Ighalo Pulls Out Of Algeria, Argentina Clashes Chanchung Yatai forward Odion Ighalo has been ruled out of Nigeria’s upcoming games against Algeria and Argentina next month after picking up an injury for his team. Ighalo is set to be out for a period of three weeks, which effectively rules him out of the Eagles November 10 and 14th game against Algeria and Argentina respectively. The former Watford of England forward will contact the technical crew later today to intimate them of his withdrawal according to the print edition of Sportinglife Newspaper. His withdrawal means one of the players placed on standby will move up to the main team as replacement for the forward, who has regained his spot in the Nigeria national team after playing second fiddle to Kelechi Iheanacho for some time. One among the trio of Kenneth Omeruo, Alhassan Ibrahim and Brian Idowu who are on standby will most likely replace Ighalo for the game against Algeria and Argentina http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/11/01/standby-players-on-alert-as-ighalo-pulls-out-of-algeria-argentina-clashes/

tbaba1234: You now see why Oliseh failed? Meanwhile players like Leone Balogun, Mikel Obi and Victor Moses were available for selection. That was my major headache with Oliseh and Keshi. For one flimsy reason they will be having issues with big players and then dropping them for some home based players probably just to spite the big players. Go and look at the list with which we played Tanzania in Dar es Salam enroute qualification for the 2017 AFCON and you will see why we did not make the AFCON. That draw in Dar es Salam really blew up our chances. 5 Likes |
