Recently had a good friend into fiverr encouraging me to rekindle my passion for writing (used to write essays and co in 2012-2015) but I've stopped mainly because I lost interest. Instead of jumping to where everybody sees as the easy route on fiverr, decided to learn graphics designing mainly because; 1.I'm so passionate about it (recently had edema from not sleeping for a week because I saw 24/7 light in Unilag & kept designing in their awesome reading room almost nonstop). 2.Its fascinating and can be lucrative if you're good(almost same in every field).

It'll take a while to be good enough to offer services on fiverr and co but it's a gradual process I guess and fiverr isn't the only platform to get good clients.

Got a laptop in September and have been able to do one or two designs thanks to tutorials from YouTube. Sometimes I just replicated what the tutor did, other times I played around with ideas.

Ohh! Should mention I'm focusing on adobe illustrator for now.

Posting here is mainly to be able to look back at my progress and mainly for critique from the gurus here. Thanks

Just applied the tunisian motif to some shirts and a throwpillow. Think the pillow looks best

Finished these two yesterday. First was from a tutorial with slight variations that were geared to make it look like a fabric design, second was totally my idea. The second one just looks plain sorta & i honestly named it 'Dunno what' . Got zero ideas what to use it for

Saw this nice drawing on deviant art months back(will provide link to the artist after some FBI work). Been struggling with the pen tool but some tutorials helped. Just finished practising usage of the pen tool. Still rusty

www.deviantart.com . They had an app last time i checked. Its just where artists share artworks etc

Tried animating a passport. Mistakes here and there. Will leave it as it is before I end up messing it all up with corrections. Next up, tutorials on coloring.

Another Tut completed. @Fiscabally what version of Adobe Illustrator do you use? This 2015 version frustrates me plus my 4GB RAM seems poor lately,now understand why most graphics designers go for as high as 32GB RAM.

That's a good job bro.
I use AI 2017 with 8GB ram on my Iappy, try upgrade ur ram to 8GB or 16GB
