Hmmm - you are joking with fire here. Please attached your employment letter, your promotion letter (if you have), letter of confirmation, letter of redeployment (if any), commendation letter (if any), payslips, tax clearance certificate, pictures of you at work, pictures of you at the facade of your office and the office logo is conspicuously displayed, a copy of your staff ID card and then your reference letter.

The above is not up for debate. You are clearly informing the program assistant and the Visa Officer that you actually work in your Organisation. Even if you had worked in different organizations - the above should be used for your present work place. It will solidify your application that you are sincere. Also, if your company’s website isn’t working; please go and beg the MD to resuscitate the website (though with the above you can clear doubts). Also, try to see if your company is actually registered on CAC website.

What I have written above - not everyone did it and they were successful. However, nobody will tell your how emotional traumatic it is waiting because your eligibility is yet to be confirmed. To save that time, please get the above

@ecfmg question. Its sent by regular post. They wait 60 days and if they haven't got a response they send another and wait another 60 days then send another. After the 3rd time you can then request and pay for it to be sent by courier.
Only OAU to the best of my knowledge right now does ecfmg verification electronically. I hope this helps.

1. Not so clear, let me try
Use a scanner :Pscan to pdf/print to pdf, merge pdf using free online sites (google). Try to name your pdf files using each checklist title so you don't mix things up, dont forget to include your ECA report and TRF under the education merge.
If there is any part of your application that requires further clarification, make use of your LOE placeholder or merge LOE with the section that needs clarification.

2. Medicals- yourself your international passport, proof of payment
PCC- international passport, passport photograph, your money and your fingers

3. Any standard photostudio can do it, go with the cic specification sheet and compare details of outcome before leaving the studio.

Ok back to your questions.
1) scan and merge documents in their respective groups (using online tools eg ilovepdf.com) & save on your system and plzzz name them accordingly
for e.g scan and then merge your Degree certificate + IELTS TRF + ECA....save & name it as "kissoflife education" then upload it into d education placeholder on your profile...do same for all other places u need merged documents...
Remember that d document size limit is 4MB...u can first compress and then merge using the same online tools

2) For your medicals...take along your intl PP, ITA letter, 2 passport fotos, & of course d money you will use to pay for it. You can call d hospital ahead and clear all doubts.
For your PCC, take along your intl PP and cash. u will need to thumbprint there.

3) I live in PH. sorry. but u basically need to go to any good digital photo studio.
Take along a copy of d eapr photo dimensions requirements...

On a serious note, I will be getting reference letter from my employer but I will need to add other supporting docs. My case is quite peculiar. Our company merged with another company and based on that we were issued new employment letters and some years of our service shaved off from our records. The ref letter will bear the new advised date of resumption, so to proof that I have the number of years I am claiming, I am planning to add:

1. Old employment letter
2. New employment letter
3. Confirmation letter
4. Promotion letter
5. Copies of some official mails sent by me in the course of my work during the period
6. Letter from my immediate supervisor attesting to the fact that I actually worked at the company before the stated time on my ref letter + her complimentary card.
7. Old payslips from the months removed from my records.

I hope they are ok and I am not overshooting it? Cos if not for the peculiarity, I was only planning to add reference letter and nothing more. I kuku tire for the situation.

No you are not overshooting. You are even undershooting. Include the following

- Recent payslips which should include tax deductions
- tax clearance
- a copy of the mail sent to staff about the merger
- if possible, a newspaper publication of the merger
- your old and new business card
- statement of account (salary account). Do one year
- statement of account (where your POF is residing)
- your old and new staff ID
- Your reference letter from HR

What if I only have payslips available to me. should I attach for the whole duration of my employment in addition to the reference letter? I am using past experience and I already got my reference letter

That moment you are trying so hard not to quote da boss so as not to receive "ela". I just dey for one corner laffing out loud.
I weak for this kin overloading with information CIC didn't ask for and even scaring whoever wants to be scared that heavenly fire must come down for problem not to surface after following standard.

For any aspiring ITA/AOR/PPR recipient that is scared and cares to listen, submit accurate information as specified by CIC, you don't need a tooth and an eye to scale through if you are not packaging lies. Also,read from CIC website directly, it will boost your confidence.

If you don't have any information mismatch on all platform, you will do just fine with a reference letter (and whatever you can conveniently get in addition) to prove your work experience. Even if your registered organization operates from a room apartment and have just 3staffs, 2laptops, without logo/signboard, ID card, website, et al., you will be fine so long as it is a paid employment and your letter is to specification.

Lol, I get you now. What I meant was that from the very beginning I had some issues and was warned to be careful when I get to this stage of uploading documents. Haba. I thought your previous fireball response was directed to proving work experience in a case where d applicant couldnt get an IRCC standard job reference letter...in which case u werent so off point.
But with this post, oga u don commot from this planet.

A host of us here got ppr using ONLY a reference letter and nothing else. No delays, no ADRs

IRCC demands a job reference letter for the employment years you are claiming points for. There is a given standard format for this letter.
While some employers will gladly give it, others may refuse. In such a case of refusal, the applicant can go your prescribed way by giving as many supporting documents as they deem relevant...infact d list u gave is neither encompassing nor exhaustive..
plus giving all above lists doesnt mean the applicant wont be issued an ADR for any grey areas still.

You may mean well but it's coming off reaaallll bad. Change your style.

i get your point, but fact is in most cases, a reference letter is sufficient; if one must over supply docs, i would expect it to mean he has a peculiar case. Many people who submitted reference letter alone got their PPR in reasonable time , and a decent number of those who over supplied docs still ended at LVO, so it may not be the cause. But like you said, if ones company letterhead bears non functional websites and unreachable telephone contacts, it is best to go the extra mile. I am one of such people and as a result I have had to over document(added the business card of the managing partner of the firm to cover up for the website and phone) just to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that i indeed have the said experience.

in summary, if your case is a simple one, a reference letter should do the magic, it is the only mandatory doc CIC listed. but if you feel you could do more to address your peculiarities, then pls do so.
