Mujtahida:I believe Rohr should now concentrate on Ighalo, Iheanacho, Nwakaeme, Kayode, Onwuachi may be Dressers for WC,we don't have much strikers out there except if Awoniyi and Osimhen can pull a surprise coz they cannot be ruled out of contention. 1 Like |

THE 10 KINDS OF PEOPLE YOU WILL FIND IN EVERY NAIJA VIEWING CENTER! WHICH OF THEM MAKE VIEWING CENTERS MOST INTERESTING? 1. THE NOISE MAKERS They can't close their mouth during a football game. You hear things like; " Messi is good but he is not better than Joseph Yobo" 2. THE DIE HARD FANS When their club is loosing 8-0, they will still shout! "My club is better than yous", We won you guys on October 1st,1960" 3. FAIR WEATHER FANS They are the direct opposite of the Die Hard fans. They turn on their club when the club they are supporting is losing. 4. THE STATS GURU! They can give stats for Africa; You will hear stats like; "Sir Alex Ferguson was still a baby the last time Liverpool had 90% ball possession against Manchester United" 5. THE FOOTBALL MANAGERS You will hear things like; Mourinho is stupid! United would have scored 5 goals against Huddersfield if Mourinho played Lukaku on goal and De Gea as a false nine. 6. THE REFEREES You will hear things like; " Thunder fire that referee for awarding a penalty! The player only kick him in the 18 yard box! He didn't break his legs!! 7. THE KNOW IT ALL These guys know everything after a bad event. You will hear things like; Lacazette would have scored that goal if he used is nose instead of his head! De Gea should have played in midfield! 8. THE BEAUTIFUL BABES They came to support their boyfriends. Nothing else! When you asked them who they support, they will say CHELSEA! komekn: Bros ye! I salute your doggedness in tutoring them on the basic acceptable quantifiable measurement of selection of players. These people are bent on murdering equity and fair play for our korokoro eyes when it is obvious there is selective selection of players in the National team. Some even said they will go on exil if they see a player that is playing in a better league than Chidiebere Nwakali called into the National team but he is at peace with mediocre. Smh They blame Buhari for selecting people from his zone to man key positions because they believe those he selected are not better than the ones on ground but here they embracing and smooching the corrupt selection of players from a lowly league. If they really want selection based on merit by Buhari why are theynot replicating the same thing here? Maybe they think a lowly league player is better than those in a better league because..... I am not saying we should use quoter system in selection of players into the national team but I am maintaining that selection should and must be based on merit even if the whole player is from on region. In this case, I am not convinced that merit was used as the measurement of picking players. This is broad day murder of equity and fair play in cold blood. |

forgiveness: You have no single idea why Chidebere Nwakali got called up. You were not in the technical room to know what are the attributes they want. So advertising ignorance will not change the fact that you have no reason to highlight corruption. That is why I could still call out for Kayode when Machin left him on the bench while you kept mute. Let me make it easy for you. Onazi. When Onazi injured, we did not have a like for like replacement for him. That is a defensive midfielder that can cover laps on the field. A mobile defensive midfielder in the mould of Fernandinho. So all those talking Esiti are missing the attributes factor. Running around and listing names will not highlight those qualities. After careful search, the closest we have is Chidiebere Nwakali. It is right and logical to invite C. Nwakali and assess how good he is. We have a video analyst who must have gotten Chidebere Nwakali's tapes, and picked him as a good option. Then they will study him closely in camp and see if he is good enough to fit the bill. Not corruption or pulling strings. Keep in mind that the analysts work with softwares that analyse games and training indices. Stop spreading poor informed opinions. It is really irritating reading it. 1 Like |

How many of our defensive midfielders do you know that can hold the ball and move with it with pace? None. The only one we have that can offer that quality is Chidiebere Nwakali and maybe Shehu Abdullahi (keep in mind Rohr will not want to tamper with him on the right back position). So you can write of hundreds of players in that role but it does not mean they have the attributes to fit what the coach wants. That is why I find all these playing time/top leagues talk amateurish. Keep all those corrupt tags out of the debate. It is uninformed. Note, Chidebere Nwakali, unlike Onazi has the ability of delivering good final balls. We do not know if Chidiebere Nwakali will make the cut. I am rooting and optimistic he will. Please let the tech crew work and quit the malicious labelling because of players you are sentimental to did not make the cut. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sanusi Ryan cousin of Dembele is there but he no see. Raheem Lawal dey you know see. Brian Idowu dey you blind put Hope Akpan never die but you pretend you no know am. |

Good Qualities Of Chidiebere Nwakali That Makes His Invitation Promising As a defensive midfielder, he has attributes that makes him an interesting prospect. Tough Tackling Good moving with the ball He can play multiple roles from the defence to the attack midfield He is good with short and long passes Has the ability to shoot from a long range. The selections are done after meticulous study and careful analysis with softwares. So let them work. Finito. 1 Like |

I will also want the nff to begin work in earnest towards the next age grade competitions.... and also... see up structures to keep grooming those discovered under 15 stars in the last NPFL under 15 promise tournament and zenith bank cup....and also keep the tourney on going...... also a committee/scouting network....to help list and call up those youngsters who have openly declared for us....also approach them as a means of formation recognition... players like deji and co.... I think we should start going after players only who had declared to play for us...even if we think they're not good enough... an average player is better and profitingto the super eagles... than a quality player who choosed not to play for us...... after all no one knows tomoro...what that average player will turn to 2 Likes |
