My dear, DPR portal is for recruitment purpose. It is wrong to compare it to school course registration portal.

Going by your logic, the portal ought to have been closed for EVERY CANDIDATE once the application deadline reached.

You were invited for test through this portal and later with a follow up email/text in case you could not access the internet.

You are always reminded to use the portal as a genuine source of information regarding the recruitment.

If after your 300 level, and your school stops your access to registration portal, how do you register for 400 level and eventually graduate? Wouldn't you question your studentship especially when some of your coursemates can access same portal?

Let us wait for DPR to clear the air.

What if DPR clears the air and tells you that the competition was too tight that the gave you the chance/opportunity and kept your portal open to see if you could have an added advantage in terms of qualifications or an influential referee to update so they can add you up to those already documented/chosen since perhaps, you might've scored considerately close to the cutoff point for your state...

Most comments about portal open or close makes some people tensed, hence its good for all to keep mute regarding such issue till interview invites starts falling in. Well its 4rm this thread i knew we need FSLC ie first school leaving certificate. I didnt know i wuld nid it till now..
I did common entrance in pry 5 n didnt finish pry 6 then, i went 2 a pub sec skul 4 only jss1 b4 goin 2 a private sec skul..so wen i kw we wuld need it i tried locating my pry skul was told d proprietress died 6yrs ago n d skul has closed down. Contacted 2 kids of d woman i was told dey av destroyed all d docs of d skul. I rem my pry skul took us 2 a centre 2 write common entrance in d area then, i cnt remember d name of d skul we wrote it. I dont even av d contact of any of my pry skul friends, cnt remember any1. Even goggled my pry skul e no dey google. Sent my mum 2 min of edu she was told that she shuld get centre / exam no wch i dont kw...now both testimonial or fslc i no get. i dont even kw wat 2 do n i wana sort ds tin out b4 dey call 4 interview. I only kw i did common entrance then..so i shuld av fslc but how to get it i dont know.

That's a huge mistake from your mum. Getting primary school cert from public school is very easy, all u need is to approach a principal of such schools. However, organizations sometimes do visit primary school to enquire if their staff or staff to be attended such school, this I am very sure of. Xoo if u are meeting anyone to get u a FSLC, ensure he/she includes ur name in all necessary documents. Its unfortunate your school no longer exists, cos the best option would have been going bk to ur primary school

Do whatever you can to get one (FSLC) else you might not get a chance to be interviewed, there is a rigorous screening stage some hours before the interview (usually very thorough and strict). I know of someone that was sent out in the last interview because of that, it is used to ascertain the age as stipulated on your credentials. Not certain if the guy was later allowed to sit though. Little over a thousand OND's, GT's and EH's inclusive were invited out of which 250 were selected, yet they had no chill, so imagine what the screening procedures for this present(750 in all) will look like.

My advice, do all you can to lay your hand on one as it is very important...... Hope this helps?.

Nobody here has the power to employ you as DPR staff, not even those that their posts make you happy.

If I were you, I would pray to God and laught at anybody's opinion.

Even if you eventually get the job, do you expect your colleagues to always say things that make you happy?

I speak from experience from the last interview.the person involved told them he didnt have it, but would get it across to them.he's with DPR now,but when he joined he submitted it to the HR so as to put it in his file.thanks
