Mujtahida:i really wish to see him play so that we can analyse his performance. If he is another dead wood, then we can move on and look for other players who are hungry. |

mostob:i don't think Omeruo is better than any of those guys on the list. If I had to replace someone, it would be Uche Agbo...so Omeruo and Olamilekan would have to battle for that spot. |

Humility017:His height is even one of my reservations. He is gangly. Unless he has very high football IQ like Kanu or that former Man U striker, good defenders will pocket him. |

mostob: I was only asking him because he said Chidiebere Nwakali can play full back role. Chidi doesn't fit any role better than the ones bypassed. They are miles better than Chidiebere Nwakali. 1 Like |

mostob:Finish. If he's a dead wood, we remove him and move to the next man. In fact it would be good for the technical crew to always make room for such out of the way invitations as in inviting just one player outside our expectations. Who knows what they will unearth. 2 Likes |

mostob: Chidiebere Nwakali is not in the equation fit for discussion or comparison with the players available in that role for now. Tah! It is like comparing an undergraduate with kindergarten. Tah! |

forgiveness:once again, statistcs hardly tell the true story. Forgiveness, stop dragging us back, I believe we have all entertained your petulance long enough. You can cry from now till Jesus comes, but Rohr will not 'uncall' Chidiebere. Stop whining like a spoilt child and go back to reeling out random names of your underperforming and ineligible brothers you want to field in the National team. We like our players from lowly Norwegian leagues, at least they will not embarrass us like those ones that play in the big leagues |

Mujtahida:I don't know why we are disturbing ourselves on Nwakili invitation. Rohr must have seen something and if he didn't measure up to the standard he is gone,it's simple. Did anybody know that Nwakili w make the list, nobody on this thread talk about Nwakili exploit in Norwegian league talk less of invitation. Let's wait for Algeria or Argentina match to rate the guy, hope he w grabbed the opportunity just like Ekong and Abdullahi in national team cos Eagles made Ekong and Abdullahi better player not their club sides. 3 Likes |

forgiveness: I am not the coach. Let to me, I prefer a defensive midfielder who sits and shields the defence. Antonio Conte made this clear with his three central defenders in the set-up. That is why I was always more comfortable with Fernando than Fernandinho because Fernando sits and shields the defence. That is why I said let the crew work than you shouting corruption for something you do not understand. It is a continuous process to sort the team out. Kante does lots of movement but hardly leaves gap. So I have explained to you. If you like keep arguing and shouting corruption. |

Kog45:I'd like to see him play just so we confirm if he is one for the long ride because our game crumbles when either Mikel or Onazi is out. That's not good enough. Rohr is testing for options in every area where we have deficiencies and and soft spots. Till now he's still having troubles with the gk department and I read that he's determined to take Enyeama to the World Cup if he's fit and in form even if some officials in the NFF look like they don't want Enyeama. Then again our defence: he's still fine tuning it in terms of personel and that's why Ebuehi, Aina and now Idowu (on standby) have been brought in with Awaziem and Agbo Then the midfield. He's not satisfied yet. Obviously he believes in Mikel Agu but he's still not going to be sentimental about it, he's pushing to see who would be that perfect fit. Don't be surprised if another player most likely a CF who has never been invited before is invited to see if he can be the attacking conduit for the team or a good substitute. I think Rohr already has his team but he's not going to let it rest. The process of fine tuning, tinkering and adjustments have begun. 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:19pm On Nov 04, 2017 |
forgiveness: I am telling you why I think the coach invited Chidebere to camp. You said I criticised Onazi for his erratic play. I am telling you that I am not the coach. My preference is not Rohr's decision. I do not like Onazi's style but Rohr has stuck with Onazi like Superglue. I respect Rohr's decision. Allow him work. If Chidiebere Nwakali gets the nod, I will like to see how he deals with space and Rohr's midfield set-up. Not cry corruption when a player I like gets dropped. |
