I think it will be unfair of me to read that reference letter is sufficient enough for A11.2 (Eligibility) and I won’t say anything. What I have come to understand in this journey is that if you approach it with a lazy attitude, there are some VOs that will address your laziness.

I keep repeating - you don’t want to go through the emotional trauma of not seeing any significant movement in your application and when you send a mail, the response is that you should minimize communication. Canadians are subtle with insult. Trust me, you don’t want to experience that. You don’t want to be on the phone and a CPC agent is telling you that he/she cannot see your file and your file is wide open on their computer screen.

Some people are fortunate, but not all will be. Save yourself that trouble of worries, less sleep, lack of concentration, unnecessary anger and package your application like a professional.

Guys no need to start cursing or all getting angry abt this whole matter... we all have different takes .. everyone do what makes u comfortable or sleep well at night. If u feel reference letter alone is good , then use it.. if u av 3 months payslip and u feel like adding it, no harm done.. doesnt hurt ur application. If u av employment letter .. and u want to add too.. its ur problem .. its all to prove that ur telling the truth.... so to whomsoever this will help... just do what makes u feel comfy like uv done ur best and made urself credible enuf.
My own take....

Boss13, Pls let’s rest on this ref letter matter pls.,, we are here catching up on pages and it’s just reference letter since yesterday...

You have made your point and we have heard you but on a public forum there is no need to overflog an issue or try to respond to every critique of your point.....

Let us submit our Ref letter in Peace... I doubt you will be rejected for not submitting payslips and all those other documents that weren’t listed.. worse case you get ADR...

Pls house it is okay... let’s move on Pls...

My people, please for those of you that have written IELTS, please see this my pix, is it ok if I start on this first line for both Task 1 & 2 writing. Or should I just skip the line and start on the 2nd line?
Don't mind me o. I don't just want stories that touch. Thanks.

pls house has any one who wrote Ielts on the 14th October in port Harcourt gone for their Trf? if so pls what is the no format like?I have not been able to go for mine as they issue on Wednesdays and Thursdays and since I couldn't go this week it is till next week and I want to create a profile and enter the pool with my score of 434 before next week Wednesday when chances are high there might be a draw. I have been bombarding iqas with emails and their last response was the eca is complete but in the quality assurance stage which must be done before issuance.I have a hunch I will get it b4 Wednesday enabling me to create a profile with my eca no.Thanks for your anticipated response.pls the format is not limited to those who wrote in ph only as I only stated it because if there is anyone my projection will be more accurate since the city is included in the trf no.

Hi everyone,
I'm a bartender; what's the implication of putting this up while filling my express entry form? Is it safer to use my previous work history instead?
Awaiting your prompt responses.

Good morning guys!
I have been a silent reader for a while now, even went back to the first post. We have been on this express entry matter for a while, IELTS was the main culprit. Long story short, my hubby finally got LRWS:8.5,7,7,8.0. Since then I haven’t had a good night sleep, lol. I wake up on Nairaland and sleep on Nairaland. We created our EE profile on the 31/10 and got CRS 434. We are on our UK police report now, and hoping for a lower draw next week. I just want to say this community is great, especially the way everyone helps. I Look forward to all the help I can get Post ITA.

@Roke114
Are you applying for your UK PCC from Nigeria. Are you applying online or by post? If online, were you able to pay with your card? Which card did you use?

THanks

Boss13:

Sir, you should be able to separate sarcasm from holistic picture. I was only elaborating on being clinical. I know people who submitted pictures (nothing wrong with that other than it being funny).

My intention is not to create panic as I have seen that those who have submitted are a bit worried and honestly my advice is actually not for you - you have submitted and it is out of your control. It is meant for those who are in the process of submission. Hence I think it is obviously wrong for those who have submitted to critique.

Those who have not submitted have a choice. They can choose to be clinical or do otherwise, but to tell them to do as you do - IS WRONG. For example, your friend is a lawyer and works in a chamber as an employee. You, probably a lawyer working for yourself - Both your application are very different.

IRCC continues to insist that each application is unique and decisions are made based on the uniqueness of the application. I have painstakingly downloaded the IRCC code of practice and read a large amount of it (it is on their website). The validity of your application is strongly based on their requirements and supporting documents made available and where there are obviously doubts, additional documents will be required and other methods utilized to reach a decision.

In conclusion, especially for those who choose to read and interpret differently, all I have been saying is to avoid stress and emotional trauma; package your application clinically in order to get your PPR within the shortest possible time. Please note that I never mentioned that those who are delayed will not get PPR, but that waiting period is a traumatic experience, where a lot of people begin to question their God.

The Immigration Minister has recently released his plan for next year with the view of reducing the processing time. This is also evidenced by the lower period of having medical pass and some applicants are getting their PPR within 2 weeks. As at now, the average time for processing normal application is 3 months. Any thing other than that moves to various Local Visa Offices for further review. Please save yourself from such situation.

Cheers!

Hi Boss13,

The bank account statement for POF I intend to use is different from the account were my salary was paid (reflected by work payslips I would present), is this ok?

Good day all,

I always get confused by the underlined, does it mean if I have 3years work experience in three different NOC, I won't get the maximum points for 3 or more years of work experience? Please gurus in the house, come to my aid.

Just filling my profile.

Thank you all

@Kontagious Congratulations to you.

Please I am semi new to all of this. The last time I tried Canadian migration was 2013. I did IELTS, WES accreditation but never submitted anything. I realised a lot has changed since.

Please I want to restart this journey, I am excited about the Express Entry, but the information in this group needs the help of a guardian and/or mentor for better integration and judicious use.

Please advise me an appropriate Whatsapp group and/or direct email of KEY STEPS towards achieving my goal SMARTLY.

Please I need anyone's help from the appointed elders (@40manlappy, @zandora, @dupyshoo, @Ehrnie, @MummyJaygirls, @justwise, @Yimiton)
to everyone else.

PLEASE HELPPPPPP OOOOOOOO.

Thanks, I had also explored this code. But the job really has nothing to do with economics. In most organization the role sits with SupplyChain, with dotted lines to Marketing Research and Analysis.

Please I am semi new to all of this. The last time I tried Canadian migration was 2013.

Your ECA is valid for 5 years while IELTS is valid for 2 years.

I will therefore assume that you will need a new English test.

I will suggest you start by taking the six factor test to determine your eligibility for FSW. Also use the crs tool to simulate your “possible” point.

You can then register for ielts and aim for a minimum of 8777 in LRWS.

Best of Luck.

Good morning everyone, I have been a silent reader for sometime now, tried to read most of the posts from page 0 and I must say I feel very knowledgeable already. Thank you all so much.

My question is my husband is a doctor and the principal applicant, his physicianapply's portal now says ECFMG has sent his certificate for source verification. Pls is there any OOU doctor in the house that can direct us on how to get the school to respond promptly, is there anyone we need to talk to, and fees we need to pay the school? Please any help will be grately appreciated.

Secondly, his job title is MEDICAL OFFICER, and works for the Primary health care board Lagos. Which NOC is that please? I only saw MOH in the list and general practitioner. I am a little confused about that. Pls assist.
Thanks in advance

Please how did you use treasury bill as proof of fund? Can you please clarify the following? I have been reading mixed reactions about using it as PoF.
1. How did you meet up the 6 months condition with it?
2. Which of the T-Bill tenure (duration) will be most appropriate for EE?
3. If I want to apply to EE in May 2018, does that mean I would have purchased the T-Bill in Nov 2017?
4. Which information are available in the T-Bill Certificate / Letter?
5. Do I need to supply additional PoF (e.g. salary account statement, pension statement etc.) even if the amount on T-Bill is sufficient for the PoF?

Many thanks as I await your reply. God bless.
Mire222:

Will I have to write a consent letter and attach to the certificate saying she can use the invested funds or what? I'm confused.

Yes write a letter saying she has use the funds. That's what we did for treasury bill which was in my husband's name .
