Because with any injury to Rashford, that record would be under threat. I'm sure Lingards agent knew this fact.

I cannot see how Jose would remove Sergio Romero from matchday squad to include Perreira just to keep this record going, or remove Smalling or Rojo from matchday squad for Tazuebe for the same reason. Jesse Lingard is an affirmative action/federal character footballer.

I'll suggest United play 3 - 4 - 3. I think we should play with pacy Players upfront to stop the Chelsea Wingbacks from overlapping and doing any sort of Damages attacking-wise.
